'Boys Not Interested In Lito (PFT)

SEVERAL TEAMS INTERESTED IN SHEPPARD by Michael David Smith

It's only been 24 hours since the Philadelphia Eagles signed cornerback Asante Samuel, but they're already hearing from teams interested in trading for the cornerback Samuel replaced in the starting lineup.

A league source tells PFT that several teams are showing preliminary interest in trading for Cowboy Killer Lito Sheppard. Those teams include the Texans, Saints, Buccaneers, Browns, Rams and Jets.

A team can never have too many good cornerbacks, and the Eagles could choose to keep Sheppard, especially if they move right cornerback Sheldon Brown to safety. But given how much interest there is in Sheppard, it seems more likely that he'll be shipped elsewhere.

Replaced "CB" to his true position... If he doesn't end up on America's Team.. please.. send him FAARRRR away..

I am impressed with Sheppard but I usually only watch Philty when they play us and he is a nusance to the Cowboys. I'd sign him just to keep him from hurting us.

He missed 3 games last year and still lead the Eagles in ints.

He is about Newman's size ...... and is fast ..... so I guess he could do it.

If he goes any where, please let him go to a team that picks before us in the draft like the Texans, Bucs, or Saints so one of the the really good CB's fall to us like DRC, McKelvin, or Jenkins.

The last reports I read indicated that Lito Shepherd was staying with the Eagles. He definitely has been a thorn in our side no matter who the quarterback.
