Yeah they don't want nobody who is going to be a threat to the RB battle just somebody to take those 3-4 quarter carries and all game the 4th preseason

I agree that that is the plan for now. I'm sure they want to see what they have in Randle and McFadden before possibly bringing in a veteran. That'll change if injury issues persist or they don't like what they see (although I admit that I endorse bringing in true competition now).
