Thought it was a Wal-Mart parking lot.

I know a guy who's a die hard Eagles fan. To this day, he believes that there is a Dez tape out there, and JJ paid somebody off so that it would never see the light of day. SMH.

Man I hate Florio. I avoid his site just to avoid the anti Dallas bias.

Sanchez is an invested player. And once he was released he became a FA. No waiver wire rules applies.
It is no different than after the draft, Jimmy and Jerry had team reps outside of players houses ready to offer UDFA contracts [before the blowup of doing things online] as they wanted them signed, not a verbal agreement over the phone.

I will say that tampering with a pending FA and one about to be cut are two entirely different things...
Just passing on the news. However with the good news with Gregory this morning I am sure the league would like to give us some bad news. Someone on the Broncos obviously leaked this.

The Cowboys could be facing punishment from the NFL for negotiating with Mark Sanchez while he was still under contract with the Broncos.

The Cowboys were given permission to speak with Sanchez while the Broncos were still pursuing a trade but it appears the sides had already come to an agreement before his release became official on Saturday. Tampering can be a gray area but the Chiefs lost a third-round pick for similar negotiations with Jeremy Maclin last offseason. After being the odd man out in Denver, Sanchez will now open the year as Dak Prescott's backup in Dallas.

Leaked what? There is no investigation for tampering. The only thing that has happened is a speculative article written by PFT. Go back and read the 3rd word in the story and then look for anything coming from the Broncos or th NFL. The Broncos would have to to file a complaint which they have not because they gave Dallas permission to speak contract with Sanchez.

Meanwhile Philly is somehow able to fleece Minnesota lol. I know its not the same. I just cant fathom a week where Philly gets a 1 for Bradford and we lose a 3 for Sanchez.

At worse we'd lose the pick Denver was asking for. But I doubt Denver pursues it.

If the donkeys were upset the boys backed out and the league is truly investigating who else would have leaked or publicly complained?

I think the point was that there is nothing to indicate that the league is actually investigating anything. It is pure speculation by Florio. He used the word 'could' because he's just guessing based on the timing as he sees it. He didn't indicate that he had any kind of source at all.

And bingo was his namo! Florio did not report sources telling him the Broncos have filed a complaint. The NFL doesn't investigate tampering without a complaint being filed. The Broncos gave Dallas permission to talk contract with Sanchez and he hasn't even signed a contract yet. Thus, no tampering has occurred and no complaint will be filed.

You mean he is a vested veteran?

Anyone else think it was odd on the ticker during the games yesterday that Scheffter reported he'd been releasef and was signing with the Cowboys in the same breaking news alert? It looked like the deal was done before it was announced.

Hey Sanchez is worth cheating over and we don't need all 7 of our picks anyway. We only really need 2 or 3 every season.

Jerry will play the diversity card. We wanted to guarantee we could land Sanchez so that the Cowboys can appeal to the Latino population.
