for the next coach to succeed with. Although BP has upgraded our teams talent.
He will not be here to enjoy the superbowls this team will win.

BP made a grave mistake this year in starting Bledsoe over Romo. The future for this team is Romo not Bledsoe. I tend to believe our record would be no worst than it is now. I know this is all specualtion, but at some point you have to stop kidding yourselve that Bledsoe is our best chance to win. Hog wash.
With our current OL, the more mobile QB in this case Romo gives us the best chance to win, now!

no QB of the future, unless, Romo proves to be more than just a guy. Offensive line of the future, I don't believe is here. Wide Receivers of the future, imo, are not here. Offensively, we're built to win NOW.

Wow, foundation. It only took 4 years to build foundation. Some teams completely rebuild their team and make themselves contenders in half that time. Great job Bill. Honestly, he's done a good job bringing in the talent. Now if only he'd do a good job in getting the most out of that talent, and make good decisions on gameday, we might have something.

You can argue that the offensive line of the future is indeed here... It might not be a pro bowl line, but most teams don't have that.

There are only two starters on the line above the age of 30. Flozell and Rivera. And arguably both have backups that might start someday in proctor and mcquistan. And then there is always Johnson at center, and gurode at guard.

Wont disagree on the foundation, but he left the keys in the car to the front door as long as he sticks with Bledsoe...

its a 50/50 chance every game on wether the door is locked or open---on if Bledsoe shows up or not........and its a heck of alot less chance if we are playing a playoff caliber team....

Anyone can step up and look tough against Tenn and Houstons of the world

The fans have to have longer memories than a week after being let down in big games time after time

Even Flozell Adams is still fairly young for an offensive linemen.

He is only 31. He has probably another 4 years left in him.

Yeah, usually teams that you're thinking of that rebound in a couple years or the next year after getting a new coach, have solid foundations not rotten cores.

Teams who are really being undercoached.

Like Tampa Bay, or New England.

indy didnt look so tough against the titans...

wonder if you'll still be saying that after they hang 35 pts or so and 450 yds of offense on the Parcells/Zimmer D in a few weeks

Uh the Chicago Bears, it does happen. He installed the tampa cover two and went 11-5 the next year with a 1st round bye and now in his 3rd year they are the best team in football.

But he still did not have to change every player on that team. and the cover 2 is still more or less a 4-3 base isnt it? Already had a good young QB in grossman, Urlacher was there.

falcons went 9-7 in 1995, 7=9 the year before that...

99 was vermeils 3rd year with the rams

The ravens took only two years to win a super bowl, but then quickly fell apart...

Patriots were already started by parcells with a solid foundation, Carrol just couldnt do anything with them

Bears? LOL... had one of the easiest divisions in 05, and smith enherited a stout defense...
