SNAP!

The big trap must be for Parcells and the sidekick trap must be for Keyshawn.

I guess if Parcells wanted to take the high road when TO said he was happy without Parcells, BP would have simply replied, "you are what you are".

oh boy this thread should be great.

Now the masses will be out attacking parcells.

good grief.

Also, like Nate Newton said on talking Cowboys, " Bill Parcells quit on the Cowboys" and now he gets credit for the success. Just like Key quit on Tampa Bay.

I doubt PB is waiting for Dallas to fail. He genuinely likes Romo and I'm pretty sure he wants him to succeed. I know Romo still speaks fondly of Bill.

Thanks I highly value your opinion. I'll reflect upon your words of wisdom and no longer voice my own opinions. Thank you a thousand times oh mighty Rack...you totally rule

I don't know why Bill was unhappy around TO. TO did everything he could do to make his relationship with Parcells work, including staying awake in upwards of 60-70% of the meetings and only overdosing on painkillers once during the season. But with crotchety old Parcells nothing is ever good enough.

He could have started by calling him by his name.

I agree. I liked Parcells but there were two things that really rubbed me the wrong way......

1. Never using his name. Only referring to him as "the player"

2. After the whole "overdose" thing, TO was asked what BP said to him, and TO said "nothing, never asked me if I was ok, what happened, is everything cool, nothing"..............

For someone who stresses "team" like BP does, how can you not call a player by his name? How can a guy get taken to the hospital and have his stomach pumped and you not ask him about it?

Its fricken Bush league. I lost alot of respect for BP last year.

You can like one player and may not want the team as a whole to succeed. If Bill was still happy with the TEAM and not just Romo maybe he wouldn't have resigned. Honestly Bill wasn't sold on the team and didn't think they would have this kind of success or he would still be here. And I'm a Parcells fan.

Key maybe, but not Parcells. I think he wants us to succeed because most reasonable people know we are in this position only because he turned us around. Wade was the right guy to take us to 12-1 but Bill brought in the players.

ehhhh.,....wrong try again.

Bobby knight was just on the ticket, he said he talked to parcells a few days ago and said bill is happy the team is winning, he feels like he has lot invested here and that he likes the guys on the team.

He was just done coaching, he knew it and so did the team. Does not mean he doesnt like the players. How in the world would he not like witten, ware, canty, ratliff, barber etc etc...

Some guys just don't responed well to Bill's old school approach and it's pretty obivious that he didn't want him from the Beginning and never made any attempt towards reaching out to T.O..

they have the same personality though

you have to earn Bill Parcells' respect, and on the otherhand w/ TO, you have to earn his trust

but that's conflicting when you put the 2 together, noone on either side is going to go out of their way to reach out to the other, sad, 2 great people for the game not being able to get along

That was about as unbiased as Fox News.

What do you need to know when you're split wide and a decoy. That can be covered in the 1st 5 min. The reason was the offense was split with Bledsoe, Glenn and BP on one side and Romo, TO and Witten.

parcells took this totally the wrong way..T.O yes..has found happiness who wouldnt? they are actually utlizing him the RIGHT WAY. unlike parcells..who has too much of an ego to use his star WR the right way......so much respect huh

No one has ever cut me a $10 milllion dollar check, but despite that I somehow manage to not sleep during my meetings on the job ... i'm just kind of kooky like that. I take pride in this thing called 'being a professional' and showing people some respect. As long as they pay me, they can even call me 'the employee' to others if they want. I won't sulk, pout and do a half arsed job over it ... in fact, I probably won't even notice.

You bring up a good point about Glenn, and it would be interesting to see how happy TO would be about his 'utilization' if there was another 100 catch WR on the other side of him stealing his pass attempts, but the numbers also tend to improve when you're catching passes instead of leading the league in drops. TO left a lot of completions, yards and TDs (includng game winning TDs) on the field last year through no one's fault but his own.

Man if you think they paid him 10 million to be in meetings. TO is breaking all the Cowboy WR records this year without Glenn on the other side, do you think if TO was out and Glenn played all year the offense would still be the same. Yea right

You might not like him but the offensive success has alot to do with him. And he still leads the league in rec yds even when sharing time with a TE who also leads the league in receptions. So I guess he likes to share because white chocalate are both leading the league.

What has society come to when a person becomes a villian because he speaks (blunt) and does not lie. And the subject is always about what is done on the football field.

You do know that the football field is an emtional fantasy land. People become characters on the football field and in the words of Maximus " are you not entertained"

I guess to many recaps has impaired your judgement and sucked you into the fantasy land.

TO really needs to go with "no Keyshawn questions" and "no "the old coach" questions"
