Crawford, Butler, Hanna, Oscan, Lucky, Morris, Thornton

I think Crawfords contract keeps him here.
Oscan is serviceable, I think he stays.
Thornton likely stays for depth and experience.
Hanna, Lucky, Morris and Butler are probably in real danger, though.

I pretty much agree but also think Oscan will depend on how he responds to the many new, young players. If he takes the high road as being a mentor and helps in developing them with he experience, that could bode well for him

I hope he chooses to go that direction. I'm just not sure that he will.

Maybe he is a different person when the cameras aren't on, but from the interviews he gives and from what little I know in his personal/relationship life, he just doesn't strike me to be a consonant pro. He just seems to enjoy the money and the fame.

Hanna, Lucky and Morris I can see.
What WR takes Butlers spot....The 7th round pick?
Butler isn't going anywhere. He had nice chemistry with Dak last year and played well for a number four. Why this guy gets so much crap on CZ is beyond me.

He dropped a few balls. He's a #four. He also had some beaut toe drags in the endzone.

My problem with Butler is he's dumb. How many holds and blocks in the back did he commit that were completely irrelevant to a play that ruined long gains? He also has doesn't handle fades well because he steps out of bounds and drops balls.

He actually handled the fade well a few times last year. I think half of the Zone is watching a different Butler.

He's a four, he's gonna make some mistakes. But he benefits the team more than he hurts it.

I just think the world is dripping with Brice Butlers. I think they want Andy Jones to take that job by the throat, but so far, he's only good in practice.

Perhaps they do, but as long as Butler continues to win the spot, we're getting him on the 53. He's outperformed Jones thus far.

We shall see. I like Butler, think he's a great number four considering all the other weapons we have. And now, he'll likely be our 5th with Switzer coming in, so we'll see how many fewer passes go his way. Which largely depends on how comfortable Dak gets with Switzer -- we saw how comfy Dak and Brice were, Erod.

Scandrick took Mo's job. Hope he understands the nature of the business. I can see his wife chirping in his ear though lol

Tyrone Crawford must be the new Free. If he is healthy he is one of the better players on the line.
Scandrick is a player. He makes the roster and you should be happy.
Thornton could be replaced but someone better be good.
Hanna if healthy makes this team and be happy about it.
The rest are on the bubble.

He's talking about before *this* coming season? Lol. Butler, Lucky, and Morris are the only ones in any jeopardy from that list. Hanna, only if he physically can't come back from injury, which I guess is a distinct possibility.

There's no chance Crawford or Scandrick don't make the roster. I'd also say there's zero chance Orlando Scandrick plays nice with the rookie DBs. He's going to go down fighting and scratching, as he should. If they don't like it, the rookies have to fight and scratch back.

*Next* offseason we may see Scandrick be let go. And they'll probably approach Crawford to redo his deal at some point. But we're not going to weaken the defense by jettisoning valuable pieces for no good reason right at the end of training camp. That's silly.
