The 2014 NFL draft has come and gone, but the rookie signings are far from over for the Dallas Cowboys. Over the years, Dallas has had some luck in digging for gold in the pool of undrafted free agents. As the team does so again in 2014, consider this your one-stop shop for information on each and every signing.
The Cowboys addressed some big needs in the draft, surprisingly focusing a lot of attention on the offensive side. Offensive tackle Zack Martin has the ability to play guard as well.
Using another first-round pick on an offensive lineman shows Dallas is focused on keeping quarterback Tony Romo upright. With Tyron Smith and Travis Frederick already on the roster, the offensive line is no longer a weakness.
The team also addressed defensive end and wide receiver early on in the draft. With DeMarcus Ware and Miles Austin gone, Demarcus Lawrence and Devin Street will look to fill their big shoes.
Even with these positions addressed, more than a few others could use some depth. Dallas specifically could use new faces at defensive tackle, running back and even fullback.
Look for the Cowboys to target players to fill these needs and more as the undrafted free-agency frenzy begins. Be sure to check back here for a breakdown of all of Dallas' signings in the days to come.
