Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray and wide receiver Dez Bryant made history early in the team's Week 17 game against Washington. Murray set a new team record for rushing yards in a season, while Bryant set a new benchmark for receiving touchdowns.

Murray entered the game against Washington needing just 29 yards to break the record. He got that in the first quarter, with the record-breaking run gaining 32 yards. Bryant broke Owens' record on the very next play, his second touchdown catch of the first quarter.

The Cowboys have taken a huge leap forward in 2014 thanks to the duo of Murray running the ball and Bryant making plays on the outside. Their historic seasons will continue in the postseason, as Dallas has already clinched the NFC East.

With these two playmakers producing at such high levels, Dallas will continue to boast an explosive offense in the coming seasons.
