Dallas' dynamic playmaker missed more than a month after suffering a broken foot in Week 1. While the Cowboys were playing without quarterback Tony Romo, who had suffered a broken collarbone, Bryant returned to the lineup in Week 8 and attempted to play through his foot injury.
The star wideout turned to Instagram to share his thoughts on how tough it was to play through the injury as well as what 2016 holds for him:
Bryant had a career-low 401 receiving yards and only three touchdowns in nine games. He eclipsed the 100-yard mark only once, which came Nov. 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles. He has the right to be mad about how the season went.
But one thing Bryant needs to understand is that the Cowboys' downfall was not all on him. Romo's injury woes defined the 2015 Cowboys' season. Trying to win games with Matt Cassel and Brandon Weeden was too tall of a task to overcome, no matter how close it seemed the Cowboys were in the NFC East race.
When everyone is healthy, the Cowboys may be the best team in the NFC East. A healthy Bryant also needs a healthy Romo, and that is what will define Dallas next year.
