Well just great! another year of crap from this team. How lucky can JG get? I mean really, he gets a HC job without any HC experience, he gets to learn on the job and suck while learning and still he gets to keep his freaking job.

What does Garrett have? Can't coach offense, can't coach defense, cant manage the game, questionable drafting, very poor decision maker (let's switch to a super crappy 4-3 withiuth any of the right pieces!) AND can't motivate the team AND will likely miss the playoffs 3 years in a row in very favorable circumstances AND throws his players and coaches under the bus

I see NO reason why he SHOULD stay. None.

I don't know why this would be a surprise. I don't think Garrett was ever getting fired in the first place. If Romo doesn't play, as I'm expecting he likely won't, then it gives Jerry all the built in excuse he needs to justify to himself, and the media, for why he's keeping JG.

Gosselin said on Norm's show this morning that he thought Garrett saved his job with the Washington win, that we could get blown out 44-10 Sunday night and it wouldn't matter. Considering what others posted above, I wonder if he heard something.

In all honesty GB won the SB with 15 guys on IR a couple years ago. I have seen enough of the gang who couldnt call plays right and so has the average fan.
