She’s a big draw for some, but Selena Gomez and her music were enough to put one worker to sleep during Thursday night’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Oakland Raiders.
The halftime show at AT&T Stadium was an over-the-top extravaganza of ridiculousness, and Gomez’s performance wasn’t the only sight to behold.
The 21-year-old actress and musician hit the stage along with backup dancers and the entire Cowboys cheerleading unit. Gomez strutted about in scarlet short-shorts, singing songs off her album Stars Dance as smoke machines worked overtime.
For all the overwrought ridiculousness that went on at the Cowboys' halftime show, however, none of it was enough to stir one man, who slept straight through the loud, glittery rendition.
Larry Brown of Larry Brown Sports spotted the sleeping man, and nothing short of Armageddon would break this man’s slumber.

This is a man who has no use for halftime shows. He couldn’t care less about Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend and her antics—something Cowboys owner Jerry Jones cannot claim.

While a pantomiming snoozer for some, the halftime show might’ve worked some sort of weird magic on the Cowboys. After a sluggish first half, the Cowboys came back from a seven-point deficit, screwed the bolts down on defense and won the game.
The fear now is that Jones might read into this coincidence.

Gomez is a total Jerry Jones move, but he could’ve done you worse, Dallas. He could’ve gotten Miley Cyrus.
So if you need something else to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, be thankful that twerk show didn’t parade out for the halftime on a national holiday.
As for you, sleepy man—snooze on, you beautiful dreamer.
