The Dallas Cowboys (6-1) are set to face off against the Washington Commanders (2-5) at 8:30 ET Monday night. The Cowboys will try to extend their six-game winning streak, while the Commanders hope to get consecutive victories for the first time this season.
For a team with a 2-5 record, the Commanders have a surprising amount of productive players. Pierre Garçon, DeSean Jackson, Alfred Morris, Trent Williams, Jason Hatcher and Jordan Reed are all players the Cowboys have to be concerned about Monday night.
The Cowboys game plan will be the same against the Commanders as it is against every other team: They have to establish the run, control the clock and play opportunistic defense.
On paper, this may appear as a blowout win for the Cowboys; however, anybody who has watched this rivalry throughout the years knows that you throw out the records when these two teams play. Don't be surprised if this game is closer than many believe.
Make sure you check back at kickoff for live scores and analysis throughout the game.
