Zack Martin was drafted 16th overall by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2014 NFL draft. The former Notre Dame standout was one of the best linemen in the college game, and that skill was too much for the Cowboys to pass up.

Martin was a starter all four years at Notre Dame, racking up 52 starts for the Irish. In that time, he established himself as a smart, reliable anchor in the offensive line.

The former Irish lineman is surprisingly agile and quick off the line. He displayed great balance and an ability to keep himself upright and blocked even the most athletic pass-rushers. He can hit hard and drive into the second level on his blocks.

However, Martin lacks any elite physical gifts, as he's not overly big or agile, which means he'll likely move to guard in the pros, a position he didn't play at all in college. He's not an elite athlete on the line, and while his technique is effective, it's not terribly smooth.

Will Martin continue to be a solid blocker in the pros? Or will his lack of athleticism and experience on the interior of the line prove to be his undoing? Watch as our draft experts discuss Martin's ceiling and what he brings to the NFL as a rookie.
