I dont think its any more then the fact that he just doesnt have it at all anymore. His age has caught him,he is the worst QB in the nfl.Its time to at least have a younger arm in there. He is so innacurate its unreal. We cannot keep this guy as a starter next week. Please someone step in and change this.

I agree - BJ is terrible. I am so bummed out we don't have a half decent back-up QB. Simms sure would have been nice IMO.

People on this beard have been questioning BJ's ability since the summer and our management decided to go with him. What a joke.

If we see it, and the media sees it ... why doesn't the coaching staff see it??

I agree, however what are our options? I know Daunte is still out there, but who else? Can Vinny still throw?:laugh2:

The fact that management and the coaching staff were comfortable going into the season with BJ as the back-up is a complete indictment of the organization. Other options were out there. You don't need a back-up that is as good as the starter, but you at least need one that is a competent QB. This more than anything else symbolizes that we are now back in a Chan Gailey, Dave Campo-esque era. Did anyone stand-up to Jerry? I mean Phillips, Garrett cannot think this guy is a competent QB or do they? Total shame.....

What exactly do you expect the coaches to do? As a former Cowboys coach who shall remain nameless so elequently put it:

"Do you think we can just dial 1-800-quarterback?".

For better or worse, we're stuck with Johnson until Romo gets back.

Bollinger has to be better,at least he is accurate and he can run.BJ is beyond capable of competing

I don't see how Bollinger can be worse than Johnson at this point. I just don't think that is possible. His arm is totally shot. He is extremely inaccurate. His release is Christmas slow.

Right, but why make the switch if the other guy is just as bad.

Do you guys really think Bollinger is going to beat the Giants.

I think you give Brad Johnson a chance to win the game next week and if he struggles, you insert Bollinger.

Personally, I think it would send the team the wrong message if you bench Brad Johnson, right after a win.

The only thing I would do is give Bollinger more snaps, but that should happen naturally, since he is the 2nd String QB.

See, that's the thing...we don't know that.

Johnson may not be good, but the coaching staff clearly feels they know exactly what they'll get from him. Bollinger, otoh, is a total wildcard. Maaaaybe he'll good, maaaaybe he'll suck. We have no way to know for sure.

Better to stick with the evil you do know and try to muddle through.

The only way Bollinger would be worse than Johnson is if he somehow turns out to be a turnover machine. And while Johnson didn't turn the ball over today (the only thing he did right), he had a couple that should have been picked, so yeah maybe I don't see how Bollinger could be worse.

Dude Brad Johnson is gonna shut up all the haters next week when he has a field day on the Giants. Hes just going to go OFF. I don't see the Giants having answer for our super awesome terrific Quarterback.
