Imagine the fumbled snaps brooks would give up because of the lack of reps with Gurode, and he would get torn up with the way this all pro bad *** line were supposed to have is playing...

We are extremely lucky to have Barber fighting tooth and nail for his yards cause hes not gettin any help from the line! And yes Johnson threw some bone head passes for Johnson hes a back up, thats what the team has to fight through or he would be on another team starting. Remember, the o line is why we are in this position to begin with.

And we're paying dearly for it!

Last week, he gets a ball tipped at the line and a defender dives for the interception. Today, two deflected passes fall harmlessly to the ground. Last week, a pair of downfield throws are intercepted. Today, a pair of downfield throws should be intercepted, but are dropped.
With that said, we're coming off an emotional win and I think the last thing we need is a one-week QB controversy by benching Brad. We have no idea how Brooks can perform. Yeah, we think he "can" throw downfield and "can" run. But that could easily translate into a 9-for-25 performance with 3 picks on game day. Don't think it's worth the risk for one week.
