Brad Johnson, not our QB i agree, but who would hold on field goal attempts

I agree with all of you about brad johnson being too old now as the cowboys QB, we all have seen this the last 2 years in preseason games etc

even the media has touched on this subject, so i agree about that

but if you cut brad, whom would be the field goal holder, the guy that holds the football for the kicker to kick the ball.

Remember, this is based on a timnig issue, and we all remember the ball that romo dropped in seattle.

Wade said brad was the best player to hold on field goal attempts, so if you cut brad who would hold on field goal attempts

Making or missing the playoffs could easily depend on a fg later...you don't cut Johnson at this point...why would you? Is there another QB who can come in and learn our offense and be a factor? NO WAY.

Keep Johnson...he holds...continuity on the kicking game. You find another QB and another holder in the offseason for next year when the snapper and kicker have time to work with someone all through camp.

If Brad is the #3 qb I don't think he can be the holder. He would be officially inactive as the emergency qb.
