Brad Sham and Direct TV question

So tonight I will attempt for the first time ever...(dramatic, huh?)

To sync my direct tv with bBrad Shamms call over the internet. Two things?

To make sure, his call is carried on the Ticket correct?

Also, what is the lag time? I want to get it so that my Tivo is synced with his call.

I'm not sure how long the lag is. But really? Its your first time ever? Thats suprising. I have only heard Theisman do a Cowboys game once, and the rest were all Brad Sham.

I don't think the Ticket has the game on the net feed... NFL wants you to pay for its thing, so it blocks internet radio.

According to The Ticket yesterday afternoon, 93.3 will be covering the game in sync with the My27 local broadcast. AM1310 will be in sync with the NFLN broadcast. (or it was the other way around - either way, one version or the other will be in sync without having to pause your tivo 2 seconds or whatever).

Now, as for it being broadcast over the internet...???

I never understood that whole concept it is already being paid for by the radio station so by broadcasting it you have more avenues for people to listen and you have gasp more ratings and more people to listen to gasp the adds sold

Is this just the NFL trying to get another dollar from someone else

Yeah, and what was said above is what I heard as well: 93.3 will be synched to Chan. 27, 1310 synched to NFLN.

My27 will be the pure NFL Network feed... I think that's why 93.3 will be sync'd to it.

But 27 is supposed to have a pre-and post-game show with Mike Doocy.

By the way, cool idea by the Ticket to have one feed sync'd with the satellite and one with the OTA broadcast.

All you guys ar lucky to even get a radio broadcast of the game! Here in Utah I cannot get radio broadcast and the NFL broadcast team tonight SUCKS!

That will be the only part of the game that I will hate...the announcers!

The Tivo lag is a second or two. Sometimes my wife is watching the same thing up stairs without tivo and the lag is dramatic.

I have Sirius radio but I figured it would be over the net so I didn't bother getting the home kit for the radio. Dang, I am gonna have to listen to that doofus Gumble.

The Brad Sham call is on Sirius which I have but only in my car. I do not have the home kit for the Sirius radio because I thought his call would be on the net somewhere. The sirius channel is the national feed while the Cowboys feed is over 123.

So thus, if it is not over the net, I can't hear it.
