just as well....how many times have we extended ourselves for an aging veteran and gotten the short end. At his age, and a year out of the game, I think it's a reach to think he's be our OL savior. We have a decent line that's coming together and think we'll have opportunities to add depth, maybe find a gem in the rough, after roster cut downs.

It's obviously about money. As I said before this guy probably wanted something in the ballpark of closer to 4 million a year, possibly even more than that.

We offered Moore 2 million dollars.

Yea I was excited to add some vets but i'm not throwing the season away either. Our young guys have been playing well and besides that OL needs to be comfortable with each other why shift players right before the season, not a good idea.

I was going to say, I don't think his recovery is going to have much to do with the surgeon's job performance. It'll be mostly about how his body heals, and the methods he and the training staff go to get him back up to strength. I know Jerry Jones said he thinks he will play in the opener, but I seriously doubt it.
