Bradie James was on in an interview and said something that is interesting. Till this team gets a killer instinct, this team isnt going anywhere but struggle up and down. I point to the big stoppage on defense, on 4th down and cowboys took over, with a big play from brooking. Yet, the cowboys did nothing on offense. Seems like the attitude on offense sometimes is lacking.

So, how do you get the killer instinct and who should start showing that?

Who cares what any of these guys have to say?

It never changes a thing. Just go do your job and win games.

I'm sure TNew will repond with something smart to say and they will have words. Seems to happen with these two.

Agreed. I like James and all, But, shut up and go play. Tell the offense to get some fire, focus. Not some interviewer, Even though they asked James. It's not something you find. Either you have it, or you don't. This team doesn't have it.

I think Brooking is part of the "killer instinct". Thats why I say just give this time.

I agree about Brooking, but when the rest of the team (offense in particular) doesn't share the same instinct, it's a waste of the player and time.

This offense is an absolute joke. I don't know if it's the play calling, execution, Romo? It doesn't matter. They let Denver AND Carolina stay in the game all day long while the defense held up it's end of the bargain until they just couldn't sustain the 3 and out crap anymore.

People can bag on the defense all they want. That unit came up with some great stops in the second half. The offense proceeded to give the ball right back.

I agree with you.
I think the defense is being put in the position to "save the day" all too often with offense struggling and turning the ball over.

I think ST and defense is turning the corner. I would like to see more pressure and sacks but overall not giving up alot of points.

So that just leaves the offense to start executing. There is plenty of time.
I think it is more execution and creating mismatches more than anything. Witten against a LB - win for us.
Roy/Bennett for jump ball - should be win for us.

Man, Bradie James talks til he's blue in the face. Never stops talking.

Just go out and play hard! Don't talk about what you're missing, what you need to do...Just go out and DO IT!

I remember TO used to want to win so bad he didn't care how bad he looked in the media.

Now we are stuck with a bunch of 2nd, 3rd & 4th option receivers that can't make a difference in any game.

It's called imposing your will. Thats what Brian Dawkins, Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Marion Barber, but the rest of the Cowboys do not do always do.

That's the problem, you cannot develop a "killer instinct", with Wade Phillips as your coach.

Unfortunately, there isn't a player on this team that has such strong leadership that he can overcome the underwhelming personality of Wade Phillips.

If we had a player like Ray Lewis or Hines Ward, maybe we could win, despite the Coaching staff, but we don't have leaders like that.

I hear ya... but Brookings and Barber would be those(emotional) guys IMO. Just not rubbing off?

Actually, He said "we dont know how to do it" referring to winning late and getting out of this funk.

The guy is basically begging for help, but thanks to the structure here there is none coming.

I will put the video of him saying this up later.

Yet the defense gave up the game winning play. The Denver D had no problem locking down our offense in the second half and stopping us on the last drive in the red zone.

Has nothing to do with 'killer instinct.' Plenty of guys showed it yesterday, even Hamlin who played pretty well for the most part. I believe we played well enough defensively to win with ease. I think it has to do with our QB who has regressed dramatically. Tough to have 'killer instinct' when opposing teams can stack 9 in the box, beg your QB to beat you deep and he can't do it.

Give me a better QB and more consistency in execution all around and this team is 4-0 w/o blinking and people will talk about their 'killer instinct' all of the sudden.

Even the great Jimmy Genius had great leaders on the team....

They set the tone in practice and on game day....

Its not Wade fault that this team doesnt have any....

If a player yells on the sidelines.....we assume he is complaining and a cancer...

Now we have our star players sitting on their hands.....and now we want more emotion.

It seems ....Brookings and Barber are the only ones with some fire in them.

our Star QB has that same smirk and sits alone on the bench....and btw....where is Ware and his improved leadership.....love the guy as a player....but I dont even notice him trying to be a leader on that defense.

Leadership is lacking.....Players need to be more accountable........instead we get the same post game gibberish....

its frustrating...
