Is a beast man that guy has stepped up big. He had an awesome game against the Giants and Tiki was his pet monkey :p

He needs to learn to cover the te on a crossing route but he has been outstanding other than that.

Nice to see him finally come around and come up big. we need to resign this guy to a long term deal I think he is RFA after this year.

I think that you gotta give our D props all the way around. All kinds of youth all over the field and they just show up and play. It's really unfortunate that we have given away so many games offensively this year. Our defense has played to win in every game, except SF IMO.

He's been playing big, but that FB whatever the hell his name is, should have never gotten by him on that key 3rd down screen pass. Ugh. Oh well, defense is not the problem on this team, by far.

Very true he faked James and Newman out of their shorts!

It would have been a first down anyway. And that play ended up being meaningless, since the Giants missed the field goal.

Fujita improved his play yesterday as well. Prior to that he had been struggling.

james is a prime example of why you don't deem a guy a bust after half a season. some guys take time to catch onto the nfl game. he is playing well and has good size but i hear people calling spears a bust,or burnett. these guys amy very well develope into good players but may take some time.

I thought Shockey's two receptions yesterday were against zone coverage. Both times, he wasn't in James' zone, he was in Shanle's. At least that is what appeared like to me.

He did...new scheme and a late comer. I fully expect Burnett to do the same next year when he move inside.

Not when Tiki ran right by him for that big gain. He just stood there looking at him.

I was rough on James from the start but he has played well all season. Hasn't made a lot of big plays or anything but has been a solid tackler and has not made mistakes. He came out fired up against the Giants (one of the few) and that helped set the tone early on defense.

Fujita is the one that screwed up on that long Barber run. Other then that though, I agree, he played solid.

Tough one for Fujita to read cause Tim Carter was running a reverse on that play as well, so he had to keep his outside assigment too, I guess it was a well design play by the Giants

I wouldn't say that. We have the exact same play and we even ran it a couple of times yesterday. Well designed? Nah, but it was well executed... by the Giants.
