And here's something that I said:

Mannings bonus/salary that he signed is going to keep him from getting a ring.

The more money that they doled out to him was less than they could give to good defensive players.

My theory holds again.

Yea I agree with TB. When you are considered the leader you don't call out your line like that. To call them out right after the game is pretty low. It's not like he had a great game. For someone that doen't need an OC how could he only give Edge the ball 13 times.

I said the same thing the day he signed that contract.

Really! *** was that? If i own the colts I might be thinking about a coaching change. There no way James touches the ball less than 30 times if I'm coach. And you add to that the 4th down stunt Manning pulled. Who's really running this thing?

I've been wondering that for awhile.

You don't allow the player to tell the coaches whether or not to go for it.

Yeah man. The good thing about having a coach like BP its that you can be sure none of that crap will happen.

I watched Bledsoe do the same thing once to Pete Carroll in New England. It was late in the game, late in the season, against the Fish. Carroll is signalling for a timeout; Bledsoe looks right at him, waves him off and makes the play for a touchdown.
I remember thinking that if Tuna was still there, he'd have benched on the spot.

Its like when Dungy came in they told him... you are the puppet... Peyton is Master.... "Master, Master... Master of Puppets I am pulling your strings.... Twisting your mind and smashing your playoff dreams"

Dungy doesnt run team offense... nor do his coordinators... Peyton has carte blanche... hasnt worked yet...

yep, he's just like all the Mannings, Mannings is almost like a misnomer...
"WoMannings" is more accurate. They all whine like little babies.
"waaaa, I don't want to play in San Diego"
"Waaa, I want to go for it on fourth down"
"Waaa, it the OL's fault"...

Maybe Mr. QB/Offensive Coordinator should've called a better mix of plays to mitigate the pass rush...? Maybe he should've gone with quicker throws and drops? Maybe you should've known your a** was gonna get blitzed?
I think Bledsoe would've won that game if he had as much time as WoManning had today. Bledsoe was watching that at home drooling over all the time WoManning had to throw. :laugh2:

I watched the post game press conference afterwords on the NFL Network. Dungy said he and Payton where on the same page and the punt team walked on the field out of habbit. Not sure how much I believe it but he did say something to that effect.

Dungy had better hope they were on the same page. Fourth and 2 near midfield down three scores going into the fourth quarter is not the time to punt.

That said, Dungy would never hang Manning out to dry, even if the play didn't work. That appears to be at least one difference between Dungy and Manning.

...have a recap of exactly what Manning said?

That question wasn' presented to Manning. Unfortunately though the comment about the poor blocking was pretty lame for Manning to saybut overall his post game press conference was of good charachter.

As a fan I can shred the OL all I want. If I was a NFL QB I would never call out anyone on the OL. Dumb thing to do Payton.

I agree. Plus, with a team that blitzes like Pittsburgh does, you have to line up full i formation, and play smashmouth.

All this passing crap when all the Steelgirls were doing was teeing off on the pass the entire game. Stupid game plan, plus Manning has all the riches in the world and all the espn butt-sniffers praising him and his family, and he can't get it done. :laugh2:

its the Manning Curse......His Daddy Archie could never win the Big one. Great QB but always choked.. Now add that to being in Indianapolis. A good team but when has Indiana won a major champioship. The Pacer's made it to Finals and Choked, since Bobby Knight left IU, College BB is in shambles. Archie was in New Orleans (says it all) and Peyton is Indiana. (Hoosiers are good people but not a dominate Sports Capital) I think if any of the Mannings have a chance to win a championship it will be ELI with NY.

I did not like that the Steelers won.

But give them credit. They had a great game plan to stop the Colts offense. Big Ben is a better big game QB then Manning. I give the Steelers props. They won the game and the better team won that game.

I still hope Denver beats them but I still respect the Steelers. Great coaches that know how to get them ready for a game.

Props to Big Ben. Glad I have a few of his rookie cards.

Bradshaw said just what I was thinking after I saw Peytons interview.

You don't call out anyone on your team...EVER!

But I really liked Bradshaw saying the thing about Manning doing his Gyrations!

That crap drives me crazy...Knock it off and just run the play!

He does that crap almost EVERY play.

Manning is never going to win the big game. He is too scared to step up into the pocket, like Big Ben does and most good QB's can. When he gets pressured he always panics and hes way too slow to ever run anywhere. Then he blames it on his OL after the game, he barely got hit, the way he was panicking. He should know how to adjust to the blitz, but he is just too soft to win in hte playoffs.
