Bradshaw on Post Game

Terrible game, but I will say Zeke had nothing left after first half. He wasn’t in game shape after looking great in first half. Leg drive and explosion were gone, and he was stumbling. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have given it to him on the goal line, but it was obvious we couldn’t ride him in second half.

I’ll also say the OL wasn’t good today. Zeke was using all he had for every yard in the first half. TSmith when healthy makes them all better. The pass protection was horrible, and Collins struggled today.

That would mean they have QB in his 2nd year they dont trust. At that point you move on from that QB.

Landry didn't trust Staubach well past his 2nd year. Thankfully, he didn't move on. He just made decisions coaches are supposed to make, rather than putting them on his players.

Dez hasn't had a 100 yard week in 21 games. Blaming Dak doesn't make Dez any more valuable, or justify continuing to pay him big bucks.

Isn't that all the more reason to rely on a running game that has 50 yards in the first quarter?

They took Zeke out of the game with the play calling for 2 1/2 quarters and it led to a fumble, pick 6 and a missed FG.

Is this confirmed or are we just pretending we knew the play calls again?
Please tell me this isn’t based on Aikmans speculation....
It’s not right?
I dont care either way
Game is over.

But the alignment and play call looked like every other read option they've run this year
The coaches flat out said he couldve handed it off after the game. Thats the nature of the play itself

Again, water under the bridge at this point, but seemed completely obvious and was verified.

Nothing will change either

No we will blame Bailey’s groin and Zeke rust for the reason we lost and the clown locker rolls along......isn’t it great being a cowboys fan ??

Jerry has already been impressed enough because we came close even without Zeke. That will be enough to lose with Garrett and Dak again next year.

I pretty much knew it.. that being said, Garrett, typical, throwing somebody else under the bus. He tried throwing Romo under the bus against GB in 2013, when his offense completely abandoned the run the whole second half. He completely avoids the whole dynamic of the game focusing on what gets people off his back..

Linehan in the first game this season said Dak has a run-pass option three times against the Giants, but he had no problems with Dak going pass based on the look.

The real issue is, who made the decision to go with Dak as de facto starter.. of course Garrett won’t say anything about that..
This happens time and time again. Also see Greebay game earlier this year, “run pass option” stops clock, leaves enough time for Rogers to complete another miracle comeback! Puts your second year QB in bad situations then say it was his decision!

Troy was apoplectic about that, basically saying any other team in the league would at least attempt to exploit that match up and we refused to do it all game long.

Last week, we saw Dez take a slant the distance on strength alone. I don’t understand why we would not exploit that? I have a hard time believing Dez’s hands are the issue, Owens also dropped passes, but when he caught it, he was electric. We’ve underutilized Dez far too long.

When is the last time Dallas took a shot down the sideline, other than when Dak was scrambling?

I have never seen a team that ran the ball as much as them, that didn't even try to make big plays on the outside.

Garrett and Linehan outcoached themselves again. They continue to over think things when they aren't even capable of putting guys in the right place to begin with.

Dak called for option to pass down there. Not sure why everyone insist on putting that on coaches. They have given Dak that authority all year.
Thats totally on the coaches. You all the play you want...of course the Seahawks had 9 in the box, run the damn ball.

I think u r right - how sad is that ???

it's obvious the contingent that doesn't like Dak. You don't give your qb the option to throw period. It's not rocket science. If he disobeys, you

yeah lets force the ball to dez who already had several drops and a game shifting fumble
Dak lost confidence in Dez.

I feel dumb for even thinking this game might be different from the last 6 crappy weeks. Zeke back iw we might play different. Lol

This is why a new staff is needed, to use all players and the team properly. Chaz Green would not be on the team with a good coaching staff, he was supposed to be the swing tackle not Bell.

"Whey you have first and goal on the three and don't use Zeke Elliot, you get what you deserve in this game, which is a loss."

Ouch!
Shades of last week using Alfred Morris instead of Rod Smith in the same situation. Mensa head coach.

Not only a bad call but Beasley actually was wide open in the end zone but Dak decided to put head down are run.

You got to running back that just cannot be stopped he got an offense of line that destroys people.
If they had handed the ball off to Zeke and continue to do that all game long we'd be in the playoffs right now.

Fire linehan tomorrow
