They basically got a great TE in a bad offense for nothing. If I were the cowboys I would have done that in a heartbeat.

They also took on his contract. He also hasnt been a good, let alone great TE since he left Denver

So you wouldn't trade a 7th rd pick for Julius Thomas? He would be a great number 1/2 TE in the offense for basically nothing.

Definitely not for his contract. Thats why his value was so low. Im not dedicating that much cap space for a guy Peyton Manning created

I agree and I don't even think he was great in Denver. He just benefited from Manning and weapons on the outside that cleared out the middle of the field for him. His career 10.91 yards per reception is essentially the same as Jason Witten's career 10.92 yards per reception.

Albert showed no willingness to move from LT last year.
Knew his time in Miami was coming to a close and wanted to play LT probably due to $ on his final contract.
So, who knows how well/willing he would be at RT, and not to mention his health is a huge concern.

Julius Thomas as great as he was in Denver he was looking to get paid first football is secondary to him. He got his big payday and he will coast from this point on with people hoping for the denver days.

Jags still got screwed. I never wanted anything to do with Albert after he played a few NFL games.
