why was lloyd so successful against your secondary playing for a weak 49ers offense, and do you think he can do the same if not better, now that he has alot of weapons around him? whats your take?

1. Where was Lloyd last week? 7 players make receptions and he makes none? I took him late in my fantasy draft and he puts up an egg. Granted I didn't have him starting, but I'm thinking of cutting him.

2. Onto your question, he burnt Henry a few times. If I'm remembering correctly, on one play Henry actually tripped up a little and Lloyd was free to go on the sideline.

Do I envision him doing the same? No. But he can be a good receiver for you guys in my opinion. You have a good receiving corps, though I think Randle El is ridiculously overrated. To be honest, I'm worried about our punt return coverage because Randle El is a serious threat.

Good luck on Sunday Night. Hopefully Portis is healthy for you guys.

I wouldn't take Lloyd's "Success" vs the cowboys last year as anything he did. The cowboys were having problems stopping the big play early in the year last year (Randy Moss, Santana Moss, Lloyd, McCardell, etc..).

Brandon Lloyd is the least of the cowboys worries. Our 3rd CB is better then he is.

Why did Timmy Smith rush for over 200 yards in the Super Bowl, yet never come close to it ever again?

Are you aware that players can have a great game?

Are you aware that they may never come close to it again?

Are you aware that the chances a player has another team's number are slim and none?

You want to believe he can always do that to us? You also interested in some prime real estate for skiing? Or maybe some beach property?

PT Barnum was a genius.

Henry was dealing with an injury that is a similar injury to the one Springs has now.

Are you really pinning your hopes on Brandon Lloyd? All the Skins have going for them and you mention him- very strange. After last week I seem him slipping down the reciever pecking order.

I think another thing that goes into it is the fact that SF didn't have any other weapons. Think about it. If Lloyd is the only guy on your team who can catch the ball (sometimes) then you're going to look for him, and maybe force some throws when you might look for someone else.

In DC, Moss is THE GUY right now until further notice. Lloyd is going to have to prove his worth to Brunell, and Lloyd is simply not that great if he sees limited action.

I don't specifically recall Loyd's bigger plays, but in addition to Henry's injury, free safety play was an issue through much of last year.

Lloyd said that the Cowboys set him up for a big game because they were blitzing alot and left Henry alone one on one with him.

Which is kind of funny, because I swear if you go back into the archives following that game you'll find post after post of our fans wondering why we didn't blitz and why we were using "wussy schemes". Of course, when have you ever seen a message board of fans with "We weren't conservative enough !!" posts?

Yes He can be successful, he is big and fast and henry is struggling in man coverage.

His big game last year was due more to keith davis screwing up two plays that were big yardage plays, hopefully watkins will make some plays this week.

I have a question for you Commanders fans that constantly bring up this loyd henry thing, like it matters in this game since the offenses are entirely different, and my question is Can Archuletta cover witten? Witten scored a touchdown on him during our last game against st.louis last year.

Funny how the skins fans never bring that up, how archuletta couldnt cover witten, but somehow loyd beating henry is their favorite topic?

I don't know why you people are saying Henry was hurt. We played the 9ers in week 3 last year. Henry pulled his groin against the Cardinals in week 8.

He wasn't hurt that game, he just didn't play well.

A big part of the reason why was due to Keith Davis botching an assignment which got him benched by Parcells. The other was that according to Parcells, Anthony Henry was worn down before the game and said he just needed some rest. After the game, Parcells gave him a day or two of rest and Henry played quite well the rest of the way before he got injured.

I think we still have an excellent CB unit and I think Watkins is better than Davis was last year. But, last week showed that if you don't put any pressure on the QB, most of the time any NFL QB worth their salt is going to have a nice day.

Springs is more like a sports hernia, he had an abdominal muscle tear not quite close enought to a groin pull
