Nothing definitive or official, but on NFL radio tonight, a caller asked about the possibility of Lovie being the DC here, and Brandt responded by saying hat Lovie will be the next coach in Tampa. If he's right, gotta believe that's where Marinelli will end up.

Tampa would be trending up if they got lovie and marinelli.

Can't fall off the bottom.

Oh well......there goes all the head coachless teams "Rooney rule interview". This kinda sucks for us cause I feel now the new "Rooney rule interview" candidate will be Ray Horton. I wouldn't mind Horton getting consideration for the Cowboys head coaching job when it's vacant next year tbh.

Wouldn't it be just amazing if we went into next year with Garrett as HC and Kiffin as DC w/ no Marinelli on the staff?

So much to look forward to!

Marinelli is under contract. If Kiffin returns (god forbid) Marinelli isn't going anywhere. If Kiffin goes, I'd imagine that Jerry would release Rod from his deal.

NFLN said they would go after Kubiak also. They're going to have a much better coaching staff than we are. The Bucs.

Sorry but Kiffens contract is up. It was just a one year deal. Rod is under contract for a couple more years and cant just leave to be with lovie. He can only leave for a HC position.

If Rod is coaching anywhere next year I am betting heavily it will be on the Cowboys in some capacity. Jerry signed him for 3 years for a reason.
