Brees had a great year though. He seems like a good guy, so I give him a lot of credit for the way he carries himself.

Brees' incomplete pass crystallized the Saints' season in a nutshell: Close but no cigar. Of the Saints' eight losses this season, six of them were by five points or less. Unless they improve significantly on defense in both scheme and talent, expect more mediocre seasons like this one.

As for Brees, I'm glad he's our QB. Without him, we would be competing for a Top 5 draft pick.
