Nice 40 but he still can't catch...or run routes very well for that matter.

So that means about a 4.35 in reality...super fast

Yeah I don't buy pro day #'s. I'm sure he's incredibly fast, but 4.22 is highly unlikely.

speed means squat if you can't catch the ball. How many track stars have ever really been able to transition into really top WRs? Bullet Bob..... and who else?

The hand times said less than that, I think he is in reality a 4.2 guy.

Yeah even the article says he wasn't exactly reliable.

Well, hes fast...thats for sure.
Pretty much 100% of the time, pro day times are way faster that more official times. But whenyoure that fast, who cares.

Majority of professional athletes excel at multiple sports. You can pretty much guarantee a vast amount of WRs in the NFL were track stars at one point in their life. Some succeed, some don't

Hope this means he gets pushed up into the 20's which will push a good player down to us.

Mel Kiper had him going 15th overall to the 49ers in his latest mock draft, stating:

One of the bigger sleepers in the 2015 draft class at this point, Perriman is a player I’ve grown to really like as I’ve spent more time going through his tape. At one time I had him as a likely second-round pick, but now I see him as a close call in terms of overall ability next to the top few wide receivers in this class. He’s got size, and strength, and is going to run really fast at the combine and be a guy who can both stretch defenses vertically and also make plays over the middle and in traffic. He’s also got great bloodlines, as I scouted his father (Brett) when he played for Miami.

According to Steve Palazzolo he had seven drops from 54 catchable passes in 2014 — a drop percentage of nearly 13%. That’s just too high. Palazzolo clarified they don’t count drops on bad throws — these are basic passes that should’ve been hauled in.

As Lance Zierlein puts it, “His drops will drive teams crazy.”

Guy is getting open on a lot of his routes. I see something in this guy. 1st round grade.

fast, and that's it...if he falls to the 4th round, then I am interested, otherwise, just pushes someone else to us

That 40 time is going to shoot him up the draft boards because he is an amazing deep threat that will stretch the field. His drops were on hitches, slants and comebacks. He had no drops on go routes and only one on any balls thrown over thirty yards. He is fantastic at fighting for jump balls in traffic.

He would be a perfect compliment to the Patriots with Edelman and Gronk catching all of the underneath and intermediate balls. Scary even

What's it going to be then, eh?

Since people seem to be souring a bit on Parker, Funchess and Strong, someone needed to step back into the first round picture. I hope he stays there, the more receivers the better chance at pushing down a defender or two.
