For the record, the same person who told me back in February that Ellis would not be on this team come Camp time and the same person who told me we were going hard after Roy Williams.

Who is this guy!?

I think this hostile character is making stuff up again.

I think an admin should have a stern talking to this guy.

when did LG become a problem position?

did I miss something? Is kosier's foot gonna fall off?

and holland? hopefully he isn't eating himself stupid.

well lets watch Kozier first - Kosier tore ligaments in the foot and battled the injury all season, ultimately appearing in only three games

oh an you know how it feels to be 6'5" #300+ guy with torm ligaments ??????

The left guard position was under the microscope all season long. Kyle Kosier suffered a fractured foot injury during the preseason. He missed the first two games, aggravated the injury in Green Bay and ultimately went on injured reserve on Nov. 29. The Cowboys traded for Montrae Holland in August to shore up depth, but Holland wasn't ready for full-time action until late October. Holland and Cory Procter essentially rotated at left guard in the final two months.

I think Holland is a career BP IMO

Holland has started 48 out of 75 games for his career.

I have heard that they really like Doug Free and consider him our future LT, so why wouldn't they move Brewster to RT? Makes sense to me.

where you gettin your inside info from ????????????

I have heard nothing about Free ?

he has not shown me he can move fast enuf yet - I see hes up #311

but then again thats why there is a preseason

2007:
- Started at left tackle for Adams in the first preseason game against the Colts.
- Suffered a knee sprain during the Indianapolis game and missed the rest of the preseason rehabbing.
- Inactive for the first 15 games of the season.
- Made his NFL debut at Washington (12/30) at right tackle during the fourth quarter.
- Was inactive in the Divisional Playoff Game against the N.Y. Giants (1/13/08).

All Pro coming up

I think we may draft O linemen next year they way we drafted linebackers this year. IMO we need a 4 linemen C, 2 G, and a LT capable of protecting our QB. If Doug Free and Robert Brewster show something this year we may be able to just draft 3 linemen.

Cory Proctor is awful.
Kyle Kosier is maybe 2 years away from being done.
Montrae Holland is a FA.
Pat McQuistan is awful AND a FA.
Flozell is really nearing the end of his career.

Colombo and Bigg are on top of their games but aren't exactly young. Bigg could be a fixture at G for the next 5 years.

I agree

Gee... here's a shocker: Kosier undervalued yet again from a "fan."

Kosier is a damn fine starting LG. He is not a weakness. And Holland is a helluva backup. LG is fine.

Our line issues are who is going to develop out of our tackle trio (Free, McQ or Marten---I think Free is definitely the most likely). Slap Brewster in that mix, and out of the 4 of them, I think we can hash 2 quality backups out of that mix.

That leaves back up RG and C. Hopefully Holland can snap, so there's your backup center. Backup RG maybe Gibbons?

dude, wait a while before you start questioning folks.

you are brand new, have no clue the people here with real inside info.

Don't run around thinking that all of the posters here are just fans, or as ignorant about things as you appear to be.

So far ever one of your thread has been nonsense based on really wrong baseless stuff that only happened in your head.

settle down, have a beer and try to realize you need to learn some stuff.

You've heard nothing about Free, which means it is impossible that I could have heard something about him? Is that how it works.

If you ever want to eat your words, go back and read my posts about acquiring Roy Williams. Give yourself a little free education.

I must have missed where I offended you. No, I do not attend meetings at Valley Ranch and have never claimed to, but I do have some good sources of information and I do share it with this forum when I am allowed to. I respect my sources privacy and have never divulged who they are except to a couple of close friends. I am quite sure you would be satisified with who they are.

I'm rooting for Isdaner. I like his potential.

I like Bright he came from a pass happy team -

While the BYU offense is often characterized as a pass-heavy attack based on the success of junior quarterback Max Hall, the Cougars had the components to be one of the nation's elite inside running teams. Much of the credit is due right guard Travis Bright. Bright has the lateral quickness to hold up in the passing game, but his size and explosive upper-body strength are the characteristics that intrigue NFL scouts. Bright also showed the toughness required to make the transition to the NFL by making it back in time to start for his third season at guard, after suffering a broken leg in the bowl victory over UCLA in January of 2008.
