Our defense will get better. think what you want, but the eagles offense is good and they are going to run the scoreboard up on alot of teams.

Eagals O is OK... not great. Our coaching of D and HC is terrible. it's why Wade is a bottom-10 coach in any poll of writers, GMs across the board (maybe even stephen). put him on a bad team and he'd be top-5 worst coaches in the NFL today.

You were too much about individuals and stars.

The eagles offense is a strong unit. It always has been. They know what they are doing and the are coached extremely well and they perform as a unit as good as anyone.

Brown and curtis might have made a difference but I dont think it mattered. Brown is not much better than lewis or avant. Curtis speed might have made a difference but again, we whipped them on defense twice last year with those two.

Give the eagles credit, they are a great offense.

If our defense is giving up 37 points to tampa, cincy, the rams etc...then that is the time to worry. All the east games are going to be battles. I am happy if we win divisional games, no matter.

My only REAL issue was the Cowboys couldn't contain McNabb. Usually a defense will do something to compensate during half-time, but they didn't.

The Cowboys only gave up 125 yards and 7 points in the second half. The Cowboys only gave up two long drives and one of them was a deep pass. Subtract that, and the Cowboys only gave up one long drive. Fourteen of the points you can pretty much blame on Tony Romo, not the defense.

Yup. the excuses made by 'boys fans are approaching Extreme Skins level now.

They actually handled Westbrook pretty well, they set up Westbrook with the passing plays, it's not like the guy had a bunch of yards. The front did their job, the secondary was soft as marshmallows.

I agree that you have to credit McNabb, but defenses in the NFL know what QB containment is. They were created for players like Randel Cunningham, Michael Vick, Steve Young and the like. Maybe the Cowboys just didn't work on it because of McNabb's recent history. They could have contained him, they just didn't.

It's early, but I am concerned. The run defense is ok, but the pass coverage is pretty bad. They are playing some really, really conservative zone stuff and guys are wide open all over the place. The really bad thing about that is the Browns were missing their #2 and #3 WR's, and the Eagles were missing both starting WR's, yet both teams had guys open at will.

I dont know if its WP or Stewart, but whatever it is they need to fix it. We clearly have a championship offense, but after two games we dont have a championship defense.

In actuality, our defense held them to only 2 TD's that were no gift wrapped by the offense and or officials.

the game actually looked like two dudes were playing madden. anyone that plays that often should be able to get what im talking about. Where you score almost everytime and it comes down to that one stop on defense or int that lets you get up by a td or w/e
