In addition to enduring yet another difficult loss, the Oakland Raiders are bracing for the possibility that coach Tom Cable could be arrested soon in relation to an alleged assault on an assistant coach. Criminal charges against Cable could lead to a suspension by the league. "Everybody is trying to figure out who's going to take over if Tom isn't here," said an assistant coach, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. "John Marshall has a lot of experience, he's probably the guy. But it's nuts. It's crazy when you start to really think about it.

I don't feel much better. Al Davis has been blundering everything his eyesight can't see for a long time now. Jerry Jones is at least keeping us above water, not condoning anything for even a second.. To the world we are underachieving or overrated and have been for quite a while. Also, at one time, many years ago - Al Davis was a great personnel man and GM. Jerry Jones? He rode Jimmy's coat tails and then has squander much of the last 15 years still trying to prove he could get it done himself. That man's EGO has ruined this franchise.

Maybe they are. But we'll be like 8-8 or something average like MOST teams and the raiders will start Russell all year and let him complete 35% of his passes and blindly not have a clue. I don't care what season any of you would like to pick. I would feel more desperate if I were a raider fan right now than I ever have as a cowboy fan. Jerry brings in some guys and we are supposed to be awesome and we are average. Al Davis overpays for garbage and they suck...I'll give him those couple years though. I'm gonna say temporary insanity...oh and Rich Gannon of all people.
