An injury-plagued defensive end who is not in the class of the players he wants to be paid like.

    Franchise tag.

And yes, I'd listen to offers.

That would bring ET to Dallas as well.

This is only a good trade if Tank is asking for something astronomical

I have no problem moving on if they can't agree on a long-term deal but I don't think for a second DLaw is demanding $23-26M per. That would make him the highest paid defensive player in the league. It's social media/internet talk with no qualification at all IMO.

interior is really important also but three of the most important positions in todays are coaching the qb and players on defense who effect the qb broaddus is just trying to get listeners to his show I still think In the end they sign him for lots of money if your deal is to draft well and sign your own free agents then eventually dallas to sign there big name free agents my question is will he perform in the playoffs when the lights are the brightest he didn't do very well against the rams but I guess we will see if the get in that position again

Trading DLaw to replace him with a worse player is about the dumbest thing a team with a ton of cap space that imagines itself a Super Bowl contender can do. It made sense for the Raiders, because they were going to suck anyways.

don't think anyone's saying he isn't worth paying just not worth paying what he wants. Hes often injured and in the second half of the season his numbers shrink

I just think DLaw wants too much money, like an unreal amount. I don't blame him for trying to get it but if we can get a 1st and another pick or even a starting caliber player with a 1st. I think I gotta take it.

Dont underrate how important dlaw is as a leader. He helped form a brotherhood mentality on defense. Trading him away could alter that brotherhood.

Everybody wants to mimic the great Bill Belichick. Until it comes time to do the Dirty Work. How do you say trade him

I would rather do a deal for 2020 picks. We aren't drafting anybody who starts this year, more then likely and a higher pick in 2020 is probably a better investment. JMO.

Camaraderie is the key to winning. I don't think he's the leader people think he is. We have Edge rushes we need the big ugly defensive tackle if we're going to win in this league when it count. If we can't push the center back into the quarterback's face are Edge rushers will never get there all the quarterback needs to do is Step Up
