  • All off season and into training camp, we have talked about the condition of Tony Romo's back. After watching him play tonight, that focus needs to shift to how many key 3rd down throws he is going to make this season to Dez Bryant.
  • I can watch Zack Martin trap block all day. There is a nice combination of power and athletic ability every time pulls.
  • These defensive coaches just need to keep playing Rolando McClain. He is working himself back into that football mentality.
  • We all know that Dwayne Harris can make plays but that was the second game where the ball hit his hands on a slant and he was unable to come down with it. That's not like him.
  • Kyle Wilber is going to have to help this team as a nickel rusher. Other than George Selvie, he is the only one playing that can get pressure off the edge.

Moving Martin to RT might have to take a back seat to what Martin does well.

I've been assuming he;d end out outside but if his skill inside is far superior we'd be better off letting him do what he does best.

Not sure I wanna suffer through "2 rookies seasons" for him like we did with Tyron.

He didnt have a great game last night. Whiffed badly on a downfield block but you cant help but love the pick.

All of our RBs with the possible exception of Randle are considered injury prone and I'm not too sure about him.

Nor Dunbar's

Nor Williams". It's hard for any back to make it through a full season. There is no way to justify cutting Williams after seeing what he's been able to do so far. He can catch the ball out of the backfield and he runs with power. The only thing I want to see him improve vastly at is pass blocking.

Martin will either be an all pro guard or an average tackle.
I say let him stay at guard. I would even put him at center before I would tackle.

Randle has shown improvement over last year, but I'm still not overly impressed. I hope we keep Williams, but my gut says we'll keep Randle instead.

Randle picks up blitzes better and is a better player on ST. Not sure why we can't keep both unless Williams is worthless on ST.

I like him at guard too. Lets see what happens to Free next year. I think that will be the deciding factor for Martins position.

I dont think sliding Martin to RT and having him play at a high level will be an issue, he played LT at ND and has the ability to anchor or move the pile. I think he replaces Free next year. They were red hot for Trai Turner for a reason.

Martin is a rookie so he'll likely have some rough moments maybe even games. It's unusual to see a guard play at a really high level the first two years but he can certainly be overall pretty good. I'd love for him and Fred to buck the odds and play consistently at the top of the league.

That has pretty much been the end game all along.

I do not get why this has to be explained. He is insurance and a good enough player to plug in anywhere and get production.
