That's exciting to hear, because the reality is that Dunbar was ignored the entire season even when he was healthy.

I'm very excited to see how we lean on the running backs this year. Whoever wins the 3rd spot should be a special player. That basically means it won't be Randle.

I still don't understand the Randle pick. I do not see him being on this team once training camp is over. Too many options the Cowboys have picked up off the street who have much more explosion than he ever will.

The way I am seeing this shape is up that

Murray is the workhorse back.
Ryan Williams will be the backup to relieve Murray every now and then.

Dunbar will be the 3rd RB but will be used for.... wait for it... screens.

The only play that we seemingly cannot pull off, will be mastered this offseason.

PLEASE LET IT BE SO

I'm high on Dunbar, too, as long as he holds onto the ball when he's supposed to. Red zone fumbles on safe play calls will get you benched every time. As they should.

The whole staff is basically on a one year prove it deal. If things go south, Jones should and rightfully so, clear out the trash, take people to the woodshed, make people "uncomfortable" etc.
Alexander, here I think your going to be disappointed. Unless the team falls apart Garrett is going no where.

Agree big time. I think Murray, Dunbar and Williams (if healthy) can and will be a helluva trio this season, I really do.

I'm not sure whether or not it'll be Williams or not. There will be a pretty good competition, and whoever it is will need to stay healthy as well.

It was a deep running back draft too. Not sure why we took him. Made no sense to me, but I thought, maybe the scouts see something in him.

I think he's better!

I think that statement is really pushing it. At one time, Sproles was a very good RB in this league. Dunbar has only showed a couple good plays in his career. It would take alotta production and proving himself to be in Sprole's class.

Something has been wrong from day one with the Randle pick. I honestly thought the scouts done s better job scouting RBs. They had him rated higher than he was drafted, but I don't see how.!i had hope for Randle when he was drafted, but I see no burst from him, well, no speed to be honest. I didn't watch much of him in college, but his lack of speed, no burst and no quickness had to show up on tape. It seems like he is running in sand.

Dunbar is one guy.....I like what i've seen but I just don't get the hype people have for him when we've seen NOTHING from him aside from a decent run the game he got hurt in.

Him and Matt Johnson are on the thin bubble and I wonder if they'll ever match in production the number of seasons spent waiting on them to play a season. It's time to play or move to Oakland.

If he's healthy (which I know is a big if) he has a really good chance of starting at FS. That's what the coaching staff was hoping for last year. Now JJ Wilcox may have something to say on that.

we need more screen passes. only 4.6% of our passing yds came off screens, one of the lowest percentages in the league. idk why garrett hates the screen game.

They've put a little bit of their credibility on the line with Johnson but on the other hand I'm not sure it's set the team back all that much since hitting on 4th rd picks isn't a givin. If we had a starter already his time off wouldn't look so bad.

Before last year I don't think anyone wanted to see D.Free/Parnell and Berny Mac roll out for a screen except maybe the giants. They did get the ball to Murray 50+times last year through the air.

Screens are like most passing plays. You want to sell it is a deep pass but your OL has to sell the blocking, you can't let your guy jailbreak to the QB but you cannot hold them up close to LOS to kill the play. technique wise free and bernie are not the best OL for running screens with.
