On the other hand, his current staff did somehow convince Jerry to cut Ware and not draft Manziel. Maybe he'll listen to them, especially now that they're winning.

I'm not sure how Broaddus would know. I thought I heard him say on Talkin Cowboys show that he hasn't even seen him since Brent's been back.

According to his teammates, Brent looks great.

he wasn't definitive just suggested he has his doubts. In other words....tap the breaks on Josh Brent being the missing piece for DL.

Broaddus has done a reviewing Okoye piece but he hasn't done one on Brent. He has had no football take on why he doesn't feel so.

When Broaddus gives reasons then I listen but when he doesn't like he often does talking about offensive skill players then I don't.

I have heard Carter, Spencer, Church, and Okoye all talk about how well he has looked. Players were buying into RoMclain before anyone else did too.

On that particular segment it was Mickey talking about Okoye saying that looked very quick. That to me is very encouraging.

Church and Spencer talked about him when he came back and said that he looked good physically but moreso that he had his mind in the right spot to get going with the team.

Carter also talked and commented that he was glad "Beastmode" as he calls him was back and that he now had someone back around that could beat him in the weight room. That was also very encouraging.

Those are players saying that he looks quick, strong, and has a good mental attitude.

Yeah, i was a little surprised because early reports were that he was in pretty good shape and then later on, we heard that he wasn't in shape at all. Not sure where the contradicting reports came from, but Talkin' Cowboys reported both.

I wasn't expecting Brent this year until I started hearing about how he was in shape, now expectations are back where they probably should have been all along.
