This is Jerry and Jimmy divorce all over again. Its not about winning anymore and its more about politics. Noticed that the entire staff will be gone. That means that Elway was not happy about all with this coaching staff and they needed to go.

I cannot believe how so many people are putting Manning out to pasture. The guy threw for 4,700 yards this year with 39 TD's against 15 INT's, 101.5 rating this year.

Talent is not the problem. Desire is. And so is health. A happy, healthy Peyton Manning is still a top-3 QB. Problem is he didn't seem to be either of those things this past Sunday.

It's not what Manning did for the year, it's how he played the last few weeks. The man couldn't throw the ball down the field. The overall decline in his play since midseason is pretty remarkable. It wasn't just physical either. There was a breakdown in his decision making the last few weeks on ESPN the other day. Manning made so many misreads he looked like a rookie.

Oh I see... he had a bad couple weeks so we have to throw out the entire season.

Gimme a break. I cannot believe that I am coming to Peyton Manning's defense but it is ridiculous to think he literally lost all his talent just overnight.

Yeah, the guy had a crappy December and January. There's no doubt in my mind he was simply injured a lot worse than they let on. You don't just completely forget how to read defenses between games.

It never ceases to amaze me how short-sighted people are. Everyone was saying the exact same thing about Tom Brady after the KC game.
