I doubt there is any shot at all that Dawkins will be talked to by Dallas, would sign with Dallas,or anything that involves Dawkins and Dallas.

I don't want Dawkins. I hate him the most out of all the NFC east players. His dumb dance and chant makes me want to vomit...

Losing Dawkins would be a huge blow to that Eagles defense though..he gels everyone together. I hope he's gone

After 13 years with the Eagles, safety Brian Dawkins will have a new home.

David White of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that Dawkins has agreed to terms with the Broncos.

Dawkins, 35, had said during the season that he thought he'd work out a deal to end his career in Philly. It could still happen, but only after a stint with the Broncos.

From a purely physical point of view the Eagles are doing the right thing parting ways with Dawkins.

But Dawkins was the heart and soul of that defense, IMO.

so were bobby taylor, troy vincent, deuce staley and jeremiah trotter and hugh douglas.....

catch my drift.....the train rolls on.

This is why when I hear jerry say things like he is a "risk taker" I laugh. this is a risktaking move, the eagles, colts, steelers they are risk takers. they let guys like staley, douglas, burress etc... walk and believe in their system.

We on the other hand have no system or a new one constantly and jerry is terrified to put unknown players on the field.

oh well. the beat goes on in philly.

The San Francisco Chronicle cites "a league source" reporting that Brian Dawkins has agreed to a two-year contract with the Broncos.

Philly was considered a near lock to retain Dawkins on a one-year deal, but he's set to quarterback the Broncos defense in a Rodney Harrison-type role.
