The Browns are completely talent devoid, especially after being severely poached via FA yesterday. If they aren't completely sure one of these QBs is a franchise QB it makes sense to build the rest of your team 1st.

That's what I was thinking. If the 49'ers move Kapernick, there's essentially in the market for a quarterback. Swapping #2 for #7 makes sense for both sides.

Browns get a QB and still have a Top 10 pick while Kelly gets his pick of a young quarterback for the future.

At least that would avoid the career destruction that comes with playing in Cleveland. He probably won't have to, though. Kaep will likely get some kind of offer from an NFL team other than Cleveland.

Why would you want to go to the browns over the broncos?? Or jets?

Now that the Eagles have moved up, I think they will try to make a deal with SD to move to #3 to get Wentz. Jerry needs to swap picks with SD to get Wentz, IMO. That is, of course if this SF/Cle transaction were to happen. And I don't think it will.

I just don't see the eagles take a qb. They have gave both qb 1 and 2 good money. If they drafted wentz or goff, they would have unreal money towards that position. Not happening I don't think.

Rookie contracts for QB's are relatively cheap. Which is another reason why I want the Cowboys to take one, assuming the scouts give the thumbs up.

Bradfords contract is for 2 years, which is about what Wentz needs to learn the NFL game. So that works perfect for them. Bradford plays for 2 years, and Wentz takes over after that. We know by now that Sanchez is nothing more than a career backup.

Plus the Eagles have tons of cap room. Money is not an obstacle for the Eagles to grab a QB. In fact, all the signs line up for them to take one.

UPDATE: Sanchez goes to Broncos. More evidence of a move up to #3 for a QB, IMO.

Just makes me wonder why the Browns would rather trade for Kaepernick than take Wentz at 2 ??? Interesting.

They may be worried about taking another QB high. They have had horrible luck there. The Coach might be worried about his job already, who knows?
