Okay lets look at the rankings thus far. Starting with the teams that are tied with the brwons.

Chicago Bears
Cleveland Browns
Denver Broncos
Kansas City Chiefs
San Diego Chargers
San Francisco 49ers
Cincinnati Bengals
Minnesota Vikings
Philadelphia Eagles
Atlanta Falcons
Buffalo Bills
New York Jets
Miami Dolphins
New Orleans Saints
St. Louis Rams

Now lets take a good hard look at this list and pick out the teams that had decent records last year and are just off to a bad start.

Philadelphia Eagles - Should finish just below 500.
Chicago Bears - Will most likely finish above 500.
San Diego Chargers - Will make the playoffs.
Cincinnati Bengals - Will finish above 500.
New York Jets - Will most likely finish just below 500. (They will beat N.E.)
New Orleans Saints - Below 500. but only by a game or 2.
St. Louis Rams - Will make the playoffs.
Kansas City Chiefs - Will win alot down the stretch.
Denver Broncos - The D will carry them through some wins.
San Francisco 49ers - Gore will carry this team until smith gets back on track but will not be enough as they just miss the playoffs.

Okay that leaves us with the legit front runners for the top picks in the draft.

Cleveland Browns HB
Minnesota Vikings WR
Atlanta Falcons QB
Buffalo Bills DT
Miami Dolphins OT

With that said I think the Falcons and Dolphins will enventualy rise above the browns leaving us with a #3 pick. This is just what I see happening. I think the Browns got lucky with a new QB for a few weeks sometimes a change of pace will give you that little extra burst but it will not carry them through the season. They played a good game against New England because of Romeo. They have surpass their wildess dreams and it is only down hill from here.

You lost me on this one. Has there ever been a playoff team to start the season 0 -5 ?

Rams are only 3 games out dude. Thats nothing eagles lost 6 last year and came back. I think if the rams get healthy and get their running game going they could do a little damage. remeber the giants made the playoofs last year at 8-8 so don't count anyone out yet.

Here's who the Browns have left:

MIA @ CLE
CLE @ STL
SEA @ CLE
CLE @ PIT
CLE @ BAL
HOU @ CLE
CLE @ ARI
CLE @ NYJ
BUF @ CLE
CLE @ CIN
SF @ CLE

There are several very beatable teams on that list (MIA, STL, HOU, NYJ, BUF, CIN, SF). I hate to say it, but the Browns look to finish around 5-11 or 6-10.

So, where do 5-11 and 6-10 teams typically draft?

In 2007, the 5-11 and 6-10 teams picked 5-9.
In 2006, the 5-11 and 6-10 teams picked 8-14.
In 2005, the 5-11 and 6-10 teams picked 4-12.
In 2004, the 5-11 and 6-10 teams picked 5-13.
In 2003, the 5-11 and 6-10 teams picked 5-8.
In 2002*, the 5-11 and 6-10 teams picked 5-11.
In 2001, the 5-11 and 6-10 teams picked 6-10.

*Texans picked 1st overall with 0-0 record.

My guess is that the Browns' draft choice will be somewhere around the 8th overall draft pick (probably no lower than 5 and no higher than 11).

Browns could be a 7-10 win team. They have offensive weapons....

All this top 5 talk may have been silly.

I would have to agree with you on both counts.

Had you asked me a month ago, I would have said no way the browns finish with 4 wins.

This does not please me.

As long as WR Adarius Bowman is on the board when the pick comes up.
