Antwan Peek, rumored to hold interest for the Cowboys, wants to sign with Cleveland.
The Browns also hosted Texans free-agent outside linebacker Antwan Peek, who had not agreed to terms as of Friday night. Peek was coached by Browns defensive coordinator Todd Grantham in Houston. "I love coach Grantham and he loves me," Peek said. "Hopefully we can get something worked out soon."

This means "show me the money" it doesn't mean I'm going to sign with the Browns.

I dont get how we lose some of these FA. Like Berry a few years back I mean come on Dallas who has n owner that does everything in his power to go to the SB or AZ. Money isnt everything when you tell the camera that its about trying to win a SB and not the money.

I'm not saying we lost out on this guy but I mean Cleveland over Dallas with a 3-4 guru as your coach. I know Romeo is a good DC but I think we are closer to the SB than Cleveland

Berry was actually a LB when he started out in the nfl, so he could have played in the 3-4. But the year they tried to sign him Dallas was still running the 4-3. They just got outbid, I'm sure Berry is regretting that one. I can't understand any of these guy signing with the Bills, Lions, Cardinals, Browns, etc. Those are just terrible places to play. I can understand Peek's interest to an extent since he apparently is an Ohio kid. (played college ball at Cincinnati)

Yes they did. Berry was choosing between Arizona and Dallas, and he Arizona offered more money. Parcells was worried that he was a one year wonder type and didn't want to overpay like he did with DatBust. // Actually I think they went with DatDude instead which ended up overpaying.

The Browns have signed OLB Antwan Peek to an undisclosed contract.
We like it. If the 6-3/250-pound Peek can stay healthy, he'll get to the passer. Cleveland didn't need a star edge rusher as much as offensive line help, and addressed that with Eric Steinbach. Peek, 27, is a wild card with upside and could take over for Willie McGinest sooner than later.
