Browns talking about the playoffs already? Believe it

The last time the Browns made the playoffs in 2002, they were 2-4 after six games.
They won seven of their last 10 - including one on a Hail Mary touchdown pass on the last play. They eked into the AFC postseason field only after two other teams won or lost in the late games of the final weekend to move the Browns through the tiebreaker labyrinth.
"This team is way better than the 2002 team. Way better," linebacker Andra Davis said Wednesday. "I think that team got a lot of good fortune. This team here can make it on its own."
As the Browns approach their bye weekend with a 3-3 record, they guard against looking too far ahead. Obviously, there has been internal discussion about keeping focused on the game at hand. But sometimes they slip.
"It's in the reach of the team, as long as we go out and play better than the first six games," running back Jamal Lewis said.
"The next 10 weeks are gonna be huge for this team. We know what we're capable of, but we know what we need to get better at."
In one of his more memorable comments in the off-season, receiver Braylon Edwards said anything less than 10-6 would be a disappointment this season. He didn't back down from that on Wednesday.
"I believe we're getting more confident in ourselves," Edwards said. "We know we can play with the best of them. I believe we know we can do the things necessary to win games, but we have to be more consistent.
"We have to continue to go out and jump on teams early. If we can do the things we've shown that we can do, that [10-6] definitely is not out of reach. I believe it's well within our grasp."
Even coach Romeo Crennel conceded the team has talked about the playoffs
