Donald is the only guy in that list that I would consider at #16; otherwise, just trade down.

I think Ealy, Nix, Jernigan, Ha ha, Tuitt and Mosley would be ok picks at 16. Not a reach to me...

I am not so sure Ealy is on our board. Other then that, I like all of these other players. Don't love Hageman but if we get him in the right place (not 1st round), I would be fine with him. Dee Ford is strictly a pass rusher IMO. Will be a liability against the run IMO.

Why would Ealy not be on our board?

I was just thinking that Ealy and Nix and the two safeties do not warrant the use of the 16th pick on them. I'm not sure about the other guys on the list. The list of names presented seem like picks from about 22-32 range type of picks.

Taking Nix would be like taking a 3-4 nose after we have already changed to a 4-3. Ealy really underwhelms me based on what little I have seen him play. I don't think he is as good as Spencer was coming out of college, and Spencer was just a solid, unspectacular player.

These are guys that you are projecting as possible picks at 16 right?

He may not be projected as a 1st round pick by us. He's a one dimensional player at this point. He's a third down only guy right now.

I think it's a mistake trying to trade 4-5 spots to get the perfect value for a pick. If someone we like is there... we take him.

I think Nix is definitely a guy who could be considered there. The Safeties, I think that's going to depend on how the rest of the Safety class is viewed. They could get artificially pushed up in this draft. Hard to say.

I'm not sure as to what this list is honestly....I wouldn't put Ealy on a short list for #16, but he's gotta be on the list somewhere. Too much potential for him to not even be considered. He needs coaching for sure, but he has the measurables and tools a lot of successful NFL DE's could only dream of having. But yeah, in an ideal world you'd like to get a high risk/high reward guy like him somewhere in the 20's.

Not so sure about that. He needs some serious coaching because the effort he gives against the run is a deal breaker for me. I just don't see him try real hard and I'd be afraid that if he ever got a decent contract, he just wouldn't try real hard to make plays in the run game.

I would not take this guy in the 1st round. Maybe not even in the 2nd. JMO

Thats what we heard about robert mathis, but he proved he was the real deal. If you can make plays teams will find a way to keep you on the field.

I never really watched Mathis play at Alabama A&M. I also never heard that he laid down against the run. I heard that he was too small but never any of the rest. Ealy, I've seen play. I've watched him myself plenty. I don't love either one of these Missouri DEs.

I would love Ealy in RD2 develop behind Ware. But watching more of Kareem Martin, he has quickly become my favorite DE in the draft along with Ben Gardner

I just don't see what some see in Ealy. I've watched "highlight" videos on Youtube and he looks slow. He's always lumbering around and jumping in on tackles after someone else. I just don't see it. I hope to goodness he's not our pick.

Donald, Jernigan and Mosley are all good to me at 16. I'm not hung up on value because I don't trust the draft operation of this team. I personally want front five or front seven players. The talk of WR and Safety disgust me. Not sure where anyone got that this team was in the safety market. We played two new safeties last year in Heath and Wilcox. What the hell else did we expect from two rookies on a defense with no pass rush. Not saying they are good, just saying who the heck knows right now.
