First of all, this is based off an article from 2011 that talks about a story from 2010 right? He's one of the most ripped linebackers in the league and a workout freak who will probably be 220 lbs casually without the extra calories. For a student athlete that has to stay in the 230's for NFL prospects, with a high metabolism, this hardly seems like an issue. And I'm not sure if you know about working out a lot but clean bulking doesn't really work, especially if you are a college student without the means to afford a dietician that he does now.

Adrian Perterson even now eats a ridiculous amount of candy. Marshawn Lynch loves skittles. This is as silly as criticisms get for an athlete.

this place has experts for anything involving the cowboys. dont question them

I don't understand all the nutrition speak in this thread. I don't care about Carter's dietary habits. All I want to know is if the guy can play dominant football.

I don't follow the politics and behind-the-scenes side of the NFL, but I'm just curious, do you think this will affect his mentality with regard to his contract? Is management separate from an agent? I just don't want him to have something feeding him a bunch of crap that he's entitled and all. I want him to get some tough love and get his head in the game. A little humility and dedication would help. Physically, he's one of the most talented LBs in the game.

I thought the issue last year was that he struggled to get off blocks and was slow to reading the play. Never saw his physical shape as being an issue.

Unfortuately, Bruce Carter's newfound agents won't be able to take control of his spot on the football field. So, regardless of whomever he chooses to advise him in contractual matters, Carter will still be charged with carrying out his responsibilities and resolving the shortcomings that have hampered him on the field.

There is a reason why the Jason Garrett velvet hammer was brought down on him in favor of Ernie Sims before the Minnesota game and it was not because he was out of shape physically.

The real sad thing was that Sims was so bad that they had no choice but to put him back out there.

hes going to need a good agent to get a 2nd contract lmao

And how.

Hopefully not another Bobby Carpenter.

How do we get such bad luck at LBer..?

Lee, Carter, Durrant..

it's morbid our luck.

I think they definitely will be looking for backup at the position thru the draft.

Somebody who can play inside as well as outside and can blitz.
