Sean Lee had a Club, pretty sure he had an interception with that thing too..

Q-Tip! And he did have an interception. I've looked but can't find a picture, and I know there was one. Anyone have a picture of that?

That just makes him an idiot.

Maybe so but you can't deny his passion for the game and his desire to compete. Like Hos said, one of the best safeties in the history of the NFL, 4 Suber Bowls wins and a Hall of Famer. I will take the idiot, then.

Hall of Fame, best safety ever. I'll take an idiot like that.

Still stupid to cut off body parts for a freaking game......................these guys need to remember that there is life after football and apparently Ronnie Lott has realized that all too late. Imagine trying to explain to your children why you thought a game was more important than having a finger for the next 50 years of your life. Ronnie Lott's exact quote from a 2011 interview................................

"I have regrets," he says on the pinky finger topic. "My kids look at it and say, 'Why?'

I remember Sensabaugh making an interception wearing an orthopedic cast against the Giants.

The story with Lott was the finger was barely attached, he got it caught between his helmet and someone's face mask on a tackle.

Carter was awful against the Skins. Take a look at the stat sheet and you won't even see his name. That's how bad he was.

Carter may have one finger that's outta commission but he's got nine others that aren't. It's totally do-able. (Actually, it's seven fingers and two thumbs -- don't be so picky!) lol.

I'm not saying I'd do what Lott did but I have no problem with having a guy on the team that is willing to do that to play. That's their business.

But I'm curious what exactly in the remainder of his life is not having the tip of a finger going to keep him from being able to do?

We have some people on here acting like the guy is going to come across something one day and have to say "Oh damn. I can't do that now. It requires the tip of the one finger I don't have the tip of."

Geez.

The only reason Lott regrets it is because he has to have his children ask him why he did it. If they didn't ask why I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have any regrets on it and I am pretty much 100% positive that losing the tip of that finger has not hindered his life in anyway post football.

Good lord. Some people on here are acting like he cut off a freaking hand or took out one of his own eyes or something.
