Brugler updated mock

I have no problem with either of those selections.
I agree, but it would be hard for me to leave Peter Woods on the board at 20 even with what they have invested in the DT position. I think he's going to be an outstanding player.

I know it's just a mock, but 7 DBs in the first round kind of shows the depth of this class. It's a bad year not to have that 2nd round pick. There's going to be some really good day 2 guys like Chris Johnson and Keionte Scott still on the board at corner.

I honestly don't understand Scott not being a first rounder. I would love him in a trade down.

Trade down from 20 to get a high 2nd, high 3rd (or next year 2nd) and more, is not out of the question
Have to have a taker though. But the value adds up

Yeah I keep eyeballing Miami and all those day two picks they have.

Mixed feelings on Terrell.

Like the player but if I’m going CB in R1 then I want a boundary corner. I see Terrell as a Jordan Lewis type which is needed but too rich for my blood at 20.
Tend to agree. We already have Bland.

I might go McNeil-Warren or Howell or try to trade down.

Lewis is 100% the comp I had for Terrell...really like him but 20 feels rich. See him him as more of a 2nd/3rd but in this class he'll likely get pumped up.

Pretty meh draft for me.

It all depends on how the draft unfolds but in theory, I’d draft the BPA at #12, be it a CB, EDGE, or LB, and look to trade pick #20 for a couple of Day 2 picks.

If we go CB in R1 I like Mansoor Delane a lot. We need another CB1 or CB2 because there’s no guarantee Bland is back healthy.

I know Dane is just doing an exercise but if the draft fell this way the Cowboys would probably draft Faulk and Cisse over Styles/Terrell. I don’t even think the Cowboys would consider Terrell with his measurables.

I think you're right...

I agree. His age is the only thing that hurts him(24). I think he is the best slot in the class. He is bigger than a lot of slots, and a good Blitzer and tackler. If Bland raises a stink and wants to play outside CB, then Scott should be high on their board. When he played for Auburn his first few seasons, he was a punt returner. Extra special teams value never hurts.
