Mixed feelings on Terrell.

Like the player but if I’m going CB in R1 then I want a boundary corner. I see Terrell as a Jordan Lewis type which is needed but too rich for my blood at 20.

Jerry has said they really miss lewis. But I would rather a different DB as well.

Keep telling ya don't sleep on Mesidore .........age thing doesn't bother me at all. ( Brugler suggested it's not a big deal with NFL people)

Trade down from 20 to get a high 2nd, high 3rd (or next year 2nd) and more, is not out of the question
Have to have a taker though. But the value adds up

That’s probably the best case scenario unless one of the edge rushers drop or Downs. Mansoor will come in day 1 and be our best corner and CJ would be our best linebacker.

Mesidor will be 25 by draft time. If that's not an issue, it certainly should be. As does his injury issues.

You don't have to sell me on Mesidore. Loved that kid as a freshman at WVU before he transferred. I think he could play DE and along the line like a 3 tech in certain packages or rotations.

Age does not bother me with him. He does however have some medical past as he has had operations on both feet in the past.

I get this is how things go I know Cowboys for sure usually only have about 13 or 14 first round grades but I don’t like that approach. To me that’s when they get cute. They say oh we like this player but let’s get another pick and trade away from talent. I can easily see CJ Allen starting for us and they probably won’t have a first round grade on him. But he can come right in and make our unit better and start.

Im ok with picks but just barely missing out on Downs and the DE is tough.

If we could take one of them and still get CJ Allen at 20 it would be nice.

They were going on about him on the draftshow podcast and basically saying hes super smart and has the versatility to do it all. Idk though.

I like Terrell, IIRC he forced 5 fumbles this season. But I don't think Dallas will draft him. McClay likes big CBs. Revel and Diggs 6'2. Bland 6' 200 lbs. Wright was huge. Joseph was the only one under 6', and he was 511.5 and almost 200 lbs. Terrell at less than 5'11 and 180 lbs does not fit the mold of what they look for. IMO, they'll try to trade down if the edges, OTs and other CBs are gone at that point.

I'd consider him at 20, but I don't think they will.

I do too...gives me JLew vibes I just dont think that is a 1st round player.

Have you watched the CB from Duke?
