Keep telling ya don't sleep on Mesidore .........age thing doesn't bother me at all. ( Brugler suggested it's not a big deal with NFL people)
I won't be shocked if he lasts till late 2bd rd,too much risk for NFL teans.Massive injury history too. I would not take him at 20.
If he falls that far no brainer IMO...I’m starting to be intrigued by the thought of Peter Woods at pick 20.
He’s versatile enough to play DE in certain alignments and could be developed to take over the 3-tech from Odighizuwa (cut bait trade Osa in a year or two).
Definitely notWould you guys like Mansoor at 12 and Cj allen at 20?????

Id take Woods at 12. He has top 5 level talent, just had a down year like all the Clemson players. I was saying before the season he is a bigger version of Quinnen Williams. Long term he would replace not only Odighizuwa, but Clark as well. And you could even wind up with him being an All Pro caliber DT when Williams is getting old.I’m starting to be intrigued by the thought of Peter Woods at pick 20.

Good point, but If we could trade down to say 28 and still take Terrell, then get a boundary CB in the second, I’d be all for it.Mixed feelings on Terrell.
Like the player but if I’m going CB in R1 then I want a boundary corner. I see Terrell as a Jordan Lewis type which is needed but too rich for my blood at 20.
The guy he actually reminds me of is Christian Wilkins (also a former Clemson Tiger). I see Q. Williams as more of a power player while Woods and Wilkins have special athleticism for their size, allowing them to be effective on stunts, et cetera.Id take Woods at 12. Id sprint to the podium at 12 if he was there
And what does a 1st round talent at DE look like? That's the million-dollar question coz.......I dont think he is a 1st round talent.
Easy to me...And what does a 1st round talent at DE look like? That's the million-dollar question coz.......
It might not be popular opinion due to our current DT room but I would certainly be on board at 12.Id take Woods at 12. He has top 5 level talent, just had a down year like all the Clemson players. Its definitely not a million dollar question. Pretty simple one actually. A 1st round talent at DE is a player that will have the necessary skills and measurables to be a catalyst for the defense and command the offenses attention. And what does a 1st round talent at DE look like? The value is just too good. Draft is team building and talent acquisition and Woods would be a move on both frontsIt might not be popular opinion due to our current DT room but I would certainly be on board at 12.
He has a ton of position flexibility and I still think he can help you year 1.
And to your point maybe he is the Osa replacement or helps us get out of that contract if we need to.
I dont hate making a strength a super power. The value is just too good. Draft is team building and talent acquisition and Woods would be a move on both fronts
It would also signify a shift in thinking at the position. After years of middling to poor results with day 3 DT's, they finally place a real premium on the positionI dont hate making a strength a super power.
Like you mentioned Woods can give you base D reps at DE.
I think the Clemson triplets Woods, Parker, and Terrell have a good chance to go in the top 20. I wouldn’t complain if we got two of the three with our first round picks. It would also signify a shift in thinking at the position.
