Gotta wonder about Bosworth who has committed several penalties on STs recently. We are also getting healthier at LB.

Maybe one of those three or four roster moves involves dumping Bosworth, but that still leaves another open roster spot after Dunbar goes to IR.

I am sure he plays some STs but wonder why we grab a FB when we havent run the two RB system all year. Going back to Garrett's love affair with it that never worked?

Well, even if that were the case, it's not like the two-tight end offense has turned Dallas into New England. Maybe the Cowboys are actually considering switching because they think it will make their offense more effective. (I still think he's essentially just a short-yardage addition, though, and probably won't be in with the offense for more than five plays per game ... if he sticks.)

So why isn't he on IR yet, seem like they could have filled his spot and gotten someone a weeks worth of practice

Many of the Special Teams penalties were committed by the other long haired white guy with a similar looking number:

Cameron Lawrence 53

Kyle Bosworth 58

The Cowboys HAVE used a FB this season in just about every game. It was either a TE or a LB (Lawrence or Bosworth) playong the FB position, but it's been used.

I honestly don't mind this if they can throw some completely unfamiliar formations and plays at opponents this late in the season.

Things teams have no film on.

They operative word is IF though...

That's because none of the TEs can block as a F back well (being generous)

C'mon man. You thought I was saying that?

Re-read my post and read it more carefully than you obviously did the first time. I said I have no problem if they could throw some unfamiliar wrinkles in the game-plan.

A play or two here and there.

I thought you were an open-minded guy. And I called you The Great Zord...

I'm fine with it esp for STs and for the occasional play and decoy. I love to see a FB catch the ball out of the backfield esp that I'm going to block the end oh no he's going out in pattern one near the GL.

Good move signing a true fullback with tight end Andre Smith now gone to the Browns. And Dunbar did go on IR; that's where the roster spot came from.
