McClain is the only ILB worthy of a 1st round grade, so we wont take one at 27 the more this waiting process goes the more I want McCluster. I think we will trade down and get another high second round pick IMO

OT was never really a consideration at #27, I thought it was pretty clear OG was the primary focus.

We had an article posted just recently that mentioned CB and ILB as very real possibilities at 27.

I think we will trade down if Iupati, Thomas, and Bryant are gone.

That's kind of how I feel. I think those are the 3 guys Dallas is targeting. I also think as this piece mentioned, we will need a few "wow" picks to make it happen.

Unless a big name we just never expected to be there drops or the draft falls into our laps allowing one of those 3 to fall I believe Jerry will be more then content to listen to offers and try to drop down.

You think we would still trade down if Kyle Wilson was sitting there? Even though i think he will be gone.

I'm starting to think we will trade down and then select Nate Allen.

I think the CB they like is Rutgers Devin McCourty.

Been thinking that for a while now, depending on if Thomas and Iupati are gone. Now this dez bryant thing might change everything.

i dont mind a trade down but just like last time we need to keep our options wide open as we cant target anybody or even any one postion.

i like him too, he has amazing quick feet and a great backpedal. IMO he'll be the best cb in this class. I'd be happy with him as our pick

And he's a special teams BEAST. I know personally that the kid has great character and is all about the team.

Good to know, who wouldn't want more character guys like DeMarcus Ware?

Definitely. He does fit the Cowboys pretty well. We may be losing core special teams players like Deon Anderson and Pat Watkins, so adding a solid corner who plays exceptionally well on special teams could be a need for us.

We can, but we won't.

Shhh, there are a few here that might see that and might think you believe you own the draft..........:p:

I think that shows good judgment but just why would YOU be thinking that?

I like those three. I think we could take a chance on an OT if we can't trade out of that pick and those three are gone. There is a decent chance one of those three will be available. My guess would be Iupati then Bryant then Thomas. Finding people who want to trade could be a problem. At least there will be extra time to make a trade.
