The Cowboys will face the Green Bay Packers for the eighth time in their playoff history.

Dallas is 4-3 against Green Bay. All four wins came at Texas Stadium:

The 1982 season Dallas won in the NFC Divisional playoff 37-26.

The 1993 season the Cowboys topped the Packers 27-17 in the Divisional Round.

The 1994 season was a 35-9 Silver and Blue victory over the Packers.

The 1995 season saw the Cowboys defeat the Packers 38-27 in the NFC Championship Game.

Sunday, January 15th at 3:40 PM the red hot Packers, who have won seven straight games, come to AT&T Stadium to play the NFC’s top seed. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers won his only Super Bowl (Super Bowl XLV) at AT&T Stadium over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The last time the Packers faced the Cowboys in the playoffs was January 11, 2016 at Lambeau Field.

Dallas lost that game 26-21. The postgame storyline was how Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant was robbed of a catch that would have set the Cowboys up for a first and goal at the one yard line with five minutes to play in the game. It was ruled a catch. Green Bay challenged the ruling and the refs overturned the call saying he didn’t “maintain possession”. It was one of the most bitter defeats in Cowboys playoff history.
