  1. Cleveland: Myles Garrett, Edge, Texas A&M - Arlington Martin product fits a need. With two Super Bowl QBs (Big Ben & Joe Flacco) plus Andy Dalton in the division, pass rush is a need.
  2. San Franciso: Solomon Thomas, Edge, Stanford - New GM John Lynch drafts a player from his alma mater. A Coppell High School alum.
  3. Chicago: Jamal Adams, S, LSU - Adams makes it three straight DFW prospects taken in the first round.
  4. Jacksonville: Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU - The Jags need to give their QB a legit run game.
  5. Tennessee: Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State - Titans take the highest rated corner in the draft.
  6. New York Jets: Malik Hooker, FS, Ohio State - The Jets can use the seven interceptions he snagged for the Buckeyes in 2016.
  7. Los Angeles Chargers: Jonathan Allen, DL, Alabama - The Chargers can't pass on the production Allen had at 'Bama.
  8. Carolina: Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford - His ability to run and catch the football will help the Panthers offense. His return game is another plus and his old running backs coach, Lance Taylor, is now an assistant in Carolina.
  9. Cincinnati: Hassan Reddick, LB, Temple - Fills a need for defensive minded head coach Marvin Lewis.
  10. Buffalo: Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan - QB Tyrod Taylor needs helps and Sammy Watkins hasn't played a full 16 games since 2014. Davis had 1,400 receiving yards in three straight collegiate seasons.
  11. New Orleans: Derek Barnett, Edge, Tennessee - 33 sacks in three seasons at Tennessee. Sean Payton will enjoy turning in the card for Barnett. The Saints ranked 27th in the NFL a year ago with just 30 sacks in a division loaded with two QBs who have won the last two MVP awards and won the NFC.
  12. Cleveland: Mitchell Trubisky, QB, North Carolina - The owner is upset the club passed on Carson Wentz. This pick will please the owner.
  13. Arizona: Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson - The Cardinals get their Carson Palmer replacement. Watson won on the biggest stage of college football.
  14. Philadelphia: Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama- The Eagles need a starting corner and with the WR in the NFC East they can't pass one up in the first round. At 6'1", he fits a need.
  15. Indianapolis: T.J. Watt, Edge, Wisconsin - New GM Chris Ballard gives head coach Chuck Pagano a player he can use on defense, J.J. Watt's little brother.
  16. Baltimore: Mike Williams, WR, Clemson - GM Ozzie Newsome gets help for Joe Flacco with a prototypical split end like the 6-foot-4, 218-pound Williams.
  17. Washington: Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State - Kirk Cousins needs an upgrade to help him as a QB. I wanted to put Patrick Mahomes or DeShone Kizer here because Washington needs to prepare for the probable departure of Cousins after the season.
  18. Tennessee: O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama - The Titans could use a WR here but the best TE on the board allows the club to run a great 12 package at teams.
  19. Tampa Bay: Taco Charlton, Edge, Michigan - With Matt Ryan, Drew Brees and Cam Newton in the NFC South, getting more help on the defensive line is never a bad move.
  20. Denver: Garrett Boles, OT, Utah - The Broncos need to finally address their left tackle spot.
  21. Detroit: Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida - The Lions need help at the linebacker position.
  22. Miami: Forrest Lamp, OL, Western Kentucky - A plug-and-play player. Allowed only five total pressures combined against LSU in 2015 and Alabama in 2016.
  23. New York Giants: Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin - Eli Manning will smile. The Big Blue offensive line will improve.
  24. Oakland: Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt - The Raiders D gets a lot better taking one of the draft's better linebackers. He lead the SEC in tackles.
  25. Houston: Patrick Mahomes II, QB, Texas Tech - Tom Savage is the projected starting QB in Houston. Ask Texans fans how they like that.
  26. Seattle: Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama - Robinson is another Laremy Tunsil (Miami's 1st rounder in 2016) in talent and with off-field concerns but Pete Carroll can work with him.
  27. Kansas City: Charles Harris, Edge, Missouri - Mizzou has produced some good pass rushers in the NFL the last decade. Harris had a better junior year before the new head coach brought in a different defense but still one of the best pass rushers in college football the last two years. His spin move are drawing raves from NFL scouts. Think of Harris as another Cliff Avril of Seattle.
  28. Dallas: Malik McDowell, DL, Michigan State - At 6'7", a long, rangy interior defender with disruptive potential as an inside rusher that moved around to play tackle and defensive end. That kind of flexibility is right up defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli's alley. Is he the War Daddy Jerry Jones wants? Maybe. A big knock on McDowell is he needs to be more consistent in his effort.
  29. Green Bay: Adoreé Jackson, CB, USC - Think Adam "Pac Man" Jones without all the baggage. Small CB, but great speed and can help in the Packers run game. At USC had 15 career touchdowns four different ways (6 receiving, 4 kick returns, 4 punt returns, 1 interception).
  30. Pittsburgh: David Njoku, TE, Miami (FL) - Big Ben wants reliable tight end and hasn't gotten over the loss of Heath Miller. Njoku could be another Jordan Reed at the tight end position.
  31. Atlanta: Takkarist McKinley, Edge, UCLA - Last time we saw the Falcons defense they were gassed and gave up a 25 point lead in a Super Bowl loss to the Patriots. McKinley adds more pass rush to a defense that has to deal with Drew Brees, Cam Newton and Jameis Winston a combined six times in 2017.
  32. New Orleans: Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU - White helps the back end of a defense that gave up far too many yards. He can cover and help in the Saints return game. Willing tackler and good leader a LSU. Four-year starter for the Tigers.

Bonus Cowboys Picks

Round 2: Cordrea Tankersley, CB, Clemson - An outside press corner with NFL length and athleticism.
Round 3: Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio St. - Oone of the most talented cornerbacks in this class could fall due to recent allegations of rape.
